    摘要: A diversity transmission scheme uses a number of antennas that is greater than the limitation of two transmitting antennas in the well-known Alamouti scheme. In an embodiment comprising four antennas, the antennas transmit in pairs such that each antenna transmits a block that is used in the Alamouti scheme. This increases the transmission rate. For example, the transmission of two signals at a given time slot increases transmission rate by a factor of two. The invention not only increases the number of antennas, but also increases the transmission rate. At the receiver end, the code is decoded without matrix inversion and without much noise enhancement. Moreover, noise enhancement stability is increased by a simple, partial interference cancellation scheme, that results in improved decoding performance.

    摘要: Disclosed is a method, circuit and system for transmission and reconstruction of a video block. A video stream may be composed of sequential video frames, and each video frame may be composed of one or more video blocks including a set of pixels. Prior to transmission of the data associated with a video block, the video block data may be transformed into a set of transform (e.g. frequency) coefficients using a spatial to frequency transform such as a two dimensional discrete cosine transform. Selection of the subset of transform coefficients to be transmitted may be based on a characteristic of the video block.

    摘要: A system separates unknown signals which have been combined together through unknown linear filters and for which observations at multiple sensors are made. In a two channel circuit with two inputs and two sensors, the reconstructed source signals are assumed to be decorrelated such that the cross-correlation between the reconstructed source signals is near zero. The transfer functions which represent the crosstalk processes are estimated. The output signals are detected and the transfer functions are recursively solved. A reconstruction filter is used to recover the original input signals.
