摘要: The apparatus comprises a reciprocal blade (30) having edges (31, 32) respectively set at a side of a forward end and at a side of a return end of reciprocation, and fixed blades (33, 34) having edges respectively set at the side of the forward end and the return end to cooperate with the edges at the forward end and the return end of the reciprocal blade. The reciprocal blade and the fixed blades cooperate with one another to cut a carrier tape with a shearing force. Partitioned carrier tape storage parts (37, 38) are disposed below respective shear parts formed between the edge at the forward end of the reciprocal blade and the corresponding edge of a fixed blade, and between the edge at the return end of the reciprocal blade and the corresponding edge of a fixed blade. When an emptied carrier tape (23), after a component is removed therefrom, is cut by the edge at the forward end or at the return end of the reciprocal blade and the edge of the fixed blade at the same side as the cutting edge of the reciprocal blade, the cut carrier tape is sorted and collected in the carrier tape storage parts in accordance with a kind of the carrier tape. The carrier tape can hence be sorted and collected for every kind thereof simply by changing a drive direction of the reciprocal blade in accordance with the kind of the carrier tape.

摘要: A control circuit for automobile headlamps which emit light in variable color. The control circuit prevents left and right headlamps from emitting beams of light in different colors. Each headlamp includes a white light bulb, and a yellow globe is moved from a first position to a second position to cover the bulb when yellow light is selected, and the yellow globe is moved back to the first position when white light is selected. If the movement of the globe stops between the first and second positions, the control circuit generates a fault signal for turning off the headlamp associated with the fault, thus preventing the headlamps from emitting light of different colors. Alternatively, the control circuit can adjust the position of the globe for the headlamp without the fault to be in agreement with the position with the headlamp having the fault, such that both headlamps emit light of the same color.

摘要: A solar cell unit (100) of the present invention includes (i) a fluorescence converging plate (2) that contains fluorescent materials (6) for absorbing invisible light and then emitting invisible light and (ii) a solar cell (4) provided on an end surface (2a) of the fluorescence converging plate (2) so as to have a light receiving surface which faces the ends surface (2a). When the fluorescence converging plate (2) is irradiated with external light, the fluorescent materials (6) emit invisible light which is then reflected in the fluorescence converging plate (2) and thereafter converged onto the end surface (2a). The solar cell (4) carries out electric power generation by use of fluorescence converged onto the end surface (2a) of the fluorescence converging plate (2). Conversely, visible light, with which the fluorescence converging plate (2) is irradiated, is transmitted through the fluorescence converging plate (2) without being absorbed by the fluorescent materials (6). The invisible light emitted from the fluorescent materials (6) is ultraviolet light or infrared light, and is therefore invisible to human eyes. This causes the fluorescence converging plate (2) to be perceived as having color close to transparent in a case where the fluorescence converging plate (2) is observed from a side opposite from a main surface irradiated with the light.

摘要: An anode 2 is formed on an element substrate 1. By using a film-forming solution containing a stacking material that forms an organic layer 43, a film is formed on a donor substrate 10 to form a transfer layer 11, thereby fabricating a transfer substrate 12. The transfer substrate 12 and the element substrate 1 are placed so as to face each other with spacers 13 interposed therebetween, such that the surface of the transfer substrate 12, which has the transfer layer 11 formed thereon, faces the element substrate 1 having the anode 2 formed thereon. The transfer substrate 12 and the element substrate 1 facing each other are held under vacuum conditions. The transfer substrate 12 is heated by the heat source 15 under the vacuum conditions to transfer the transfer layer 11 to the element substrate 1.

摘要: An emitting direction control apparatus for a lamp is provided with: a driver for deflecting an emitting direction for a lamp; and a controller that control the driver to perform a deflection. The controller includes an initialization function, for setting, at an initial position, a stepping motor that serves as a driving source for the driver. The initialization function detects a first current positional angle for the stepping motor; when the first current positional angle is greater than a reference angle, rotates the stepping motor in a bumping direction at a high speed until the reference angle is reached; after the reference angle has been reached, rotates the stepping motor to a bumped position an initial number of steps at a low speed; and after the bumped position has been reached, rotates the stepping motor in the reverse direction a predetermined number of steps and sets the stepping motor in the initial position.

摘要: A dimming device is provided by using a material which is capable of transitioning between a metallic reflection state and a transmitting state. The dimming device has a layered structure including a first layer and a second layer, such that the light reflectance of the first layer changes in response to an external stimulation. The first layer contains a first material whose optical characteristics change in accordance with a concentration of a specific element. The second layer contains a second material capable of containing the specific element, the second material releasing or absorbing the specific element in accordance with the external stimulation.
