    摘要: In a method and magnetic resonance (MR) system for the creation of an artifact-free image data set of an imaging area located in a measurement volume of the MR system, measurement data are acquired from which an image data is to be reconstructed, with gradients for spatially coding of the measurement data are ramped continuously over time to a strength desired for the acquisition of the measurement data, without abrupt changes in the gradient strength. The actual gradients present in the measurement volume are measured by a field mapping device in the measurement volume of the MR system. The trajectories along which k-space is scanned during the acquisition of the measurement data are calculated on the basis of the measured actual gradients. An artifact-free image data set is reconstructed from the acquired measurement data under consideration of the calculated trajectories, and is displayed and/or stored.

    摘要: In order to position and simultaneously operate both a magnetic resonance (MR) coil and an ultrasound transducer adjacent to a target volume while minimizing interference between the MR coil and the ultrasound transducer, hybrid ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) devices are provided. One of the hybrid ultrasound and MRI devices includes a transducer array, a communications interface connected with the transducer array, and a housing that electromagnetically shields and encloses the transducer array and the communications interface. An electrically conducting side of the housing receives a radio frequency (RF) signal from an MRI system and transmits the RF signal to an electrically conducting side of a housing of another of the hybrid ultrasound and MRI devices.

    摘要: In a method or system for magnetic resonance imaging based temperature monitoring for real-time feedback to a physician for a cryoablation therapy of a lesion which creates an ice ball of the lesion to induce cell death, the magnetic resonance imaging system, using proton resonance frequency imaging, obtains a real-time temperature image of the ice ball of the lesion undergoing the cryoablation therapy and the adjacent surrounding tissue. By use of an algorithm, correcting temperature errors at a border of the ice ball are corrected in the real-time image, the temperature error correction correcting susceptibility contrast errors caused by a distortion of the local magnetic field at the border of the ice ball.

    摘要: Magnetic resonance imaging frame rate is increased using ultrasound information. Magnetic resonance (MR) images may be provided at an increased frame rate relative to the MR acquisition. For times between acquisition of MR data, MR data may be created. To account for any change in position of tissue over time, ultrasound is used to track the location of tissue or other imaged structure. The ultrasound-based location information is used to indicate the position of intensities or values of the created MR data. MR images at a higher frame rate than the MR acquisition are generated, but with accuracy of relative position based on the ultrasound data.
