    摘要: An arbor system includes an arbor, a clamp body of a power tool, a tightening feature and an optional snap feature. The arbor has a flanging feature, a thread and a number of circumferentially arranged driving pins. The clamp body is sandwiched between the arbor and tightening feature in a pressed contact with the flanging feature defining a releasable fix that is fully form fitting. Operational tilt and load torque are transmitted without affecting the tight-screwed interlocking between thread and tightening feature. A snap feature, in the form of a spring pin or a spring tongue of a sandwiched washer, may secure the tightening feature against inadvertent unscrewing. The snap feature and snap serrations may be configured as a ratchet such that the snap feature needs only be actuated during unscrewing of the tightening feature.

    摘要: Drive plates of a hydraulic torque wrench cartridge are thickened for extended surface contact with three pawls and a direct contact with the piston rod. The drive plates are held together and are additionally stiffened by dowel pins and shoulder screws. Snap pins are axially slide able and spring loaded connecting the piston rod with the drive plates in an easily disengage able fashion. Three pawls are arrayed in a pitch adjusted with respect to the ratchet teeth pitch in correspondence with an elastic deformation of the drive plates for a balanced force transfer across them. The pawl-tooth interfaces are also in an outward opening angle preventing them from snapping free under load.

    摘要: A jackscrew nut and/or bolt head assembly includes a circumferentially and radially interlocked bottom washer. Spherical faces at the washer top are thereby held in alignment with corresponding spherical jackscrew bottoms, which assures evenly distributed contact pressures during out of angle elastic jackscrew displacement during jackscrew loading. The bottom washer interlock may provide further for a transfer of a primary torque exerted onto the main body of the nut and/or bolt head via an outside spline such as well known triple square, twelve spline or the like, which may be incorporated also into the bottom washer for a concurrent application of an external torque. The assembly may be initially tightened via the primary torque whereby secondary jackscrew actuation and displacement is greatly reduced.

    摘要: Inoperable bits are determined in a memory block. Rather than abandon the block as inoperable, a data structure is generated that includes at least one memory page pointer that identifies the location of the inoperable bits in the memory block. The data structure is stored in one of a group of memory blocks that are reserved for the data structures. A pointer to the data structure is stored in metadata associated with the memory block with the inoperable bits. When a later memory operation is received for the memory block, the pointer is retrieved from the metadata and the memory page pointers are used to avoid the inoperable bits.

    摘要: The Global Dynamic Critical Path is used to optimize the design of a system-on-a-chip (SoC), where hardware modules are in different clock domains. Control signal transitions of the hardware modules are analyzed to identify the Global Dynamic Critical Path. Rules are provided for handling specific situations such as when concurrent input control signals are received by a hardware module. A configuration of the hardware modules is modified in successive iterations to converge at an optimum design, based on a cost function. The cost function can account for processing time as well as other metrics, such as power consumed. For example, during the iterations, hardware modules which are in the Global Dynamic Critical Path can have their clock speed increased and/or additional resources can be added, while hardware modules which are not in the Global Dynamic Critical Path can have their clock speed decreased and/or unnecessary resources can be removed.

    摘要: Centrally mounted in a strain decoupling fashion on a hydraulic torque wrench is a hose connect swivel. A base ring of the swivel features a first fluid transmitting joint that is fluid transmitting connected with axial studs extending from the base ring into mating holes in the torque wrench housing. The base ring is radially spaced apart and surrounding a central housing portion of the torque wrench. The radial spacing provides for a strain and deformation decoupling of the base ring from the torque wrench housing such that leakage in the fluid first transmitting joint is prevented. A second fluid transmitting joint provides together with the perpendicular first fluid transmitting joint for a three dimensional orienting of the hose connect terminal around the torque wrench housing while providing access to the piston side peripheral end of the torque wrench housing for an eventual reaction arm.

    摘要: A controller of a Solid State Device (SSD) defines a mapping from memory devices, such as flash packages, that make up the SSD to one or more storage virtual containers. The storage virtual containers are exposed to an operating system by the controller through an interface. The operating system may then make operation requests to the one or more storage virtual containers, and the controller may use the mapping to fulfill the operation requests from the corresponding flash packages. The storage virtual containers are mapped to the flash packages to take advantage of the parallelism of the flash packages in the SSD so that the controller may fulfill operation requests received from the operating system in parallel.
