    摘要: A twin motor actuator includes a pair of motor controllers for controlling respective motors according to commands received by each motor controller, and a communication link for communicating the commands received by each motor controller to the other motor controller. The motor controllers are configured to transmit the commands received by the motor controller to the other motor controller via the communication link, determine whether contradictory commands have been received by the motor controllers, and control the motors at a defined state if contradictory commands are received. The communication link is an electrically isolated communication link and the defined state may be the state of the motors immediately before detecting the contradictory commands.

    摘要: An error signal generator for generating a plurality of error signals for various control values, comprises a time controller for sequentially and periodically generating a plurality of status signals, the number of which corresponds to the number of the control values. A read-out signal generator receives reference signals and/or detection signals for generating a read-out signal in response to one of the reference signals selected by the associated status signal. There is provided a preset memory storing a plurality of preset digital values for the control values and responsive to the read-out signal so as to output to a bus the preset digital value designated by the associated status signal. A count memory responds to each status signal so as to read out the data to the bus from one of the memory areas designated by the associated status signal and then is rewritten with the data on the bus into the same memory area. An adder operates to periodically subtract a value of "1" from the data on the bus and to return the result of the subtraction to the bus. An error memory responds to each of the detection signals so as to write the data on the bus into one of the memory areas designated by the associated status signal. The respective memory areas provide the data stored therein as the error signals.

The machine comprises a first rotational drive source for rotating a grinding wheel, a second rotational drive source for rotating a helical gear in mesh with the grinding wheel, a third rotational drive source for displacing the helical gear and the second rotational drive source in unison.     摘要: Apparatus for synchronizing the relative positions of motor-driven machines. Preliminary to operating the machines in synchronism, the rotors of individual synchronous motors that drive the machines are moved to a stop at certain angular positions. The angular positions are such that when inverter voltage is thereafter applied to the stators of all of the motors from a common inverter, the instantaneous angular position of the stator magnetic field with respect to the respective rotor is the same for all of the motors. In one embodiment, several machines are synchronized as to position by first operating each at low speed to a home position. Arrival of each machine at its home position is detected by detecting the simultaneous existence of two signals: (a) a first signal indicating that the instantaneous phase of inverter voltage applied to the stator is within a predetermined range, (b) a second signal indicating that the position of the machine member driven by the respective motor is within a predetermined tolerance range of the home position. Thereupon, if a third signal indicates that the speed of the motor is below a predetermined threshold speed, a brake is applied to hold the machine in its home position. After all of the machines reach their home positions their respective brakes can be released and all motors can be energized from a common inverter in order to operate the machines in positional synchronism.
