    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are described for wireless communications that support transmitting channel state information (CSI) feedback utilizing flexible uplink control resources. A method may include determining a size of a frequency subband corresponding to components of a CSI feedback report based on configuration signaling or a size of allocated uplink control resources. A method may include encoding a CSI report into a single packet and transmitting the single packet over uplink control resources. A method may include encoding a first plurality of components of a CSI report in a first packet, encoding a second plurality of components of the CSI report in a second packet, and mapping the packets to uplink control resources. A method may include transmitting a first plurality of components of a CSI report on a first slot and a second plurality of components of the CSI report on one or more subsequent slots.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a base station may transmit a slot format indicator (SFI) to a first user equipment (UE) via downlink control information (DCI) and the first UE may use the SFI to determine time-domain resources over which the first UE may measure cross link interference (CLI) arising from a transmission from a second UE. The first UE may use the SFI as an index into a slot format combination table, which may also be used for uplink and downlink scheduling or may be exclusively used for determining the time-domain resources for CLI measurement. The first UE may determine a set of slot formats from a slot format table based on a slot format combination corresponding to the SFI index and may determine over which symbols the first UE may measure CLI based on the set of slot formats.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to methods and apparatus that involve associating a first plurality of channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) ports with a second plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states according to a rule at a scheduling entity, mapping the first plurality of CSI-RS ports to antenna elements of an antenna array in accordance with the rule, and transmitting CSI-RS to a scheduled entity, receiving CSI-RS at the scheduled entity and associating the first plurality of CSI-RS ports with the second plurality of transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states according to a rule at the scheduled entity, determining pre-coding matrix indicators (PMIs) corresponding to the second plurality of TCI states, and transmitting the PMIs corresponding to the second plurality of TCI states to the scheduling entity. A user equipment (UE) receives an indication of a restricted set of frequency domain (FD) beamforming components and one or more channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs). The UE may transmit channel state information (CSI) report indicating a plurality of precoding coefficients based on the received one or more CSI-RSs and the restricted set of FD beamforming components.
