Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to indicating search spaces and/or control information formats for receiving multicast/broadcast service (MBS) downlink control information (DCI). A device can receive a search space configuration defining one or more search spaces for detecting communications intended for a group of one or more user equipment (UEs), determine a priority for detecting control information transmitted over a control channel based on the one or more search spaces, and perform, based on the priority, detection for the control information over the control channel based on the one or more search spaces and/or the other defined search spaces.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback operations for multicast communications are provided. A first user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a multicast feedback configuration indicating a first resource configuration for a negative-acknowledgement (NACK) feedback mode; and a second resource configuration for an acknowledgement/negative-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback mode. The first UE receives, from the BS, a first multicast communication. The first UE transmits, to the BS, a NACK feedback for the first multicast communication based on the first resource configuration. The first UE receives, from the BS, a second multicast communication. The first UE transmits, to the BS, an ACK feedback or a NACK feedback for the second multicast communication based on the second resource configuration.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive one or more repetitions of a broadcast message for broadcast service in one or more transmission occasions. The UE may determine a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) configuration that indicates whether HARQ combining is supported for the broadcast message based at least in part on one or more properties of the broadcast message. The UE may perform a decode attempt on a transport block carried in the one or more repetitions of the broadcast message based at least in part on the HARQ configuration. Abstract: This disclosure relates to techniques for providing access control for multicast or broadcast (MC/BC) services. A base station broadcasts one or more cell barring parameters to a group of user equipment (UEs) that indicate whether the UEs of the group of UEs is permitted to select the cell of the base station for receiving the MC/BC services. The base station also broadcasts one or more access control parameters to a set of one or more UEs, of the group of UEs, that are indicated to be permitted to select the cell for receiving the MC/BC services based on the one or more cell barring parameters. The one or more access control parameters indicate whether the set of one or more UEs is permitted to establish or resume the RRC connected state with the base station for receiving the MC/BC services.

The UE may synchronize an RLC AM reception window of the UE with the RLC AM transmission window based at least in part on determining the adjustment of the RLC AM transmission window of the base station.
