    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a plurality of random access occasions for uplink message transmission to a base station. The UE may determine that a first portion of the plurality of random access occasions is unavailable for use by the UE as a result of the base station operating in a full duplex mode. The UE may select one or more random access occasions from a second portion of the plurality of random access occasions instead of from the first portion based at least in part on the determining. The UE may transmit a random access message to the base station during the one or more random access occasions from the second portion.

    Abstract: A UE may receive, from a base station, a configuration for a plurality of parameter sets that each include one or more parameters for a RACH message and are each associated with one of TDM, FDM, or SDM. The UE may determine a transmission type of the RACH message corresponding to one or more of the TDM, the FDM, or the SDM and transmit the RACH message to the base station based on at least one parameter set and the determined transmission type of the RACH message. In aspects, the configuration received by the UE may be a configuration for transmitting the RACH message based on a RACH determination protocol. The UE may transmit the RACH message to the base station based on the received configuration associated with the RACH determination protocol and the determined at least one transmission type of the RACH message.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, in a full duplex transmission mode, a measurement trigger indicating a set of candidate base station beam pairs, wherein a candidate base station beam pair comprises a base station uplink (UL) beam and a base station downlink (DL) beam, wherein the corresponding identified UE beam pair comprises a UE UL beam and a UE DL beam, wherein the set of candidate base station beam pairs are identified based at least in part on a base station self-interference measurement; and transmit, to the base station, a beam measurement report based at least in part on a plurality of beam measurements obtained based at least in part on the measurement trigger.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink assisted cross-link interference (CLI) determination are described. In some examples, a first wireless device may perform a first measurement of a sidelink message received from a second wireless device. As such, the first wireless device may transmit, to a base station, a report indicating that the second wireless device is estimated to be within a defined proximity of the first wireless device based at least in part on the first measurement satisfying a threshold. In some examples, the first wireless device may receive a control message, from the base station, scheduling transmission of a message between the base station and the first wireless device in a frequency resource in response to the report that the second wireless device is estimated to be within the defined proximity of the first wireless device.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may identify a full-duplexing rule that indicates to refrain from using a transmission dropping rule for transmission direction conflicts that occur between uplink and downlink transmissions in a same symbol. The UE may receive a control message scheduling transmission of a message during a symbol, where a transmission direction conflict arises between a first transmission direction of the message and a second transmission direction of the symbol. For example, the UE may identify a transmission direction conflict between an uplink transmission direction of the message and a downlink transmission direction of the symbol. The UE may communicate the message during the symbol based on the full-duplexing rule. The described techniques may enable the UE to attain reduced latency and higher throughput based on reducing a number of transmissions dropped by the UE.
