Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for determining neural network functions (NNFs) and configuring and using corresponding machine learning (ML) models for performing one or more ML-based wireless communications management procedures. An example method performed by a user equipment includes transmitting, to a base station (BS), UE capability information indicating at least one radio capability of the UE and at least one machine learning (ML) capability of the UE and receiving, from the BS based on the UE capability information, ML configuration information indicating at least one neural network function (NNF) and at least one ML model corresponding to the at least one NNF.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may communicate with a network entity within a wireless communications network. The UE may transmit a request for information to the network entity and, in response to the request, the UE may receive the requested information from the network entity. For example, the UE may request data from one or more data repositories associated with the network entity. In some examples, the information request may be associated with one or more measurements associated with operations of the network. In some instances, the UE may use a machine learning model to perform training or inference based on the information associated with the one or more measurements.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a network node having a split bearer configuration with a user equipment (UE). The network node measures, at a primary node (MN) or a secondary node (SN), a data burst statistic for the network node, the data burst statistic being based on at least one of a burst level throughput or a packet loss measurement for a data burst between the UE and the MN based on a first bearer in the split bearer configuration or between the UE and the SN based on a second bearer in the split bearer configuration. The network node provides the data burst statistic from the network node to at least one of the MN or a core network component.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, devices use machine learning (ML) models to support wireless communications. For example, a user equipment (UE) may download ML model information from a network to determine an ML model. The network may additionally configure a status reporting procedure, a fallback procedure, or both for the ML model. In some examples, based on a configuration, the UE may transmit a status report to a base station according to a reporting periodicity, a UE-based trigger, a network-based trigger, or some combination thereof. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may determine to fallback from operating using the ML model to operating in a second mode based on a fallback trigger. In some examples, to restore operating using a downloaded ML model, the UE may download an updated ML model or receive iterative updates to a previously downloaded ML model.

The wireless device may perform the sensing operation and transmit an indication of a measurement parameter value to the base station. The sensing measurement parameter value may be associated with a location of the wireless device. In some examples, the wireless device may transmit the indication of the sensing measurement parameter value based on performing the sensing operation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications supporting network coordination during path switching and multi-path scenarios are described. For example, a first network entity may receive, from a first user equipment (UE), a measurement report indicating a degradation of communications between the first UE and the first network entity. The first network entity may transmit, to a second network entity, a request message to switch a connection between the first UE and the first network entity to a connection between the first UE and the second network entity. The second network entity may transmit, to the first network entity, an acknowledgment based on the request. The first network entity may configure the first UE for the new connection and the second network entity may configure the second UE for the new connection. The first UE may communicate with the second network entity via the second UE.

In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a wireless communication device, artificial intelligence (AI) model configuration information for IDLE/INACTIVE state procedures; retrieving, by the wireless communication device, an AI model for IDLE/INACTIVE state procedures based on the AI model configuration information; and performing, by the wireless communication device, one or more IDLE/INACTIVE state procedures based on the AI model. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a master node associated with a primary cell, a configuration for a conditional procedure for adding or changing a primary secondary cell (PSCell) associated with a secondary node. The UE may also receive, from the master node, a configuration for a handover procedure for the primary cell. The UE may transmit a report that includes information related to the conditional PSCell procedure, information related to the primary secondary cell, or both, based on a triggering order between the conditional PSCell procedure and the handover procedure.
