    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a user equipment (UE) may monitor multiple synchronization signal resources, each synchronization signal resource associated with a beam of a set of beams and may determine that multiple candidate beams of the set of beams satisfy a channel quality threshold. The UE may transmit an indication that the multiple candidate beams satisfy the channel quality threshold. For example, the UE may transmit a single random access message on a physical random access channel (PRACH) resource associated with multiple candidate beams, or may transmit multiple random access messages, each one on a different PRACH resource associated with a different candidate beam. The UE may receive an indication of one of the candidate beams from the base station and may establish a connection with the base station using the indicated candidate beam.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first device may receive a message indicating a configuration for performing an energy harvesting procedure. The configuration may indicate a pairing of a component carrier and a bandwidth part for the first device to use for performing the energy harvesting procedure. The pairing may be based on one or more measurements associated with the first device. As part of the energy harvesting procedure, the first device may monitor for one or more signals from a second device. The first device may monitor for the one or more signals using a set of resources that correspond to the pairing of the component carrier and the bandwidth part. The first device may receive, from the second device, one or more signals using the set of resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) flexibly prioritize between communication resources and measurement gaps to resolve collisions between communication resources and measurement gaps. For collisions between a dynamically scheduled communication resources and a measurement gap, a UE may communicate using the scheduled communication resource based on at least one of a time between reception of the downlink control message and a start of the measurement gap satisfying a first threshold duration or a second period of time between reception of the downlink control message and a start of the communication resource satisfying a second threshold duration. For collisions between periodic communication resources and periodic measurement gaps, a UE may either perform a measurement during the measurement gap or communicate using the communication resource based on a priority scheme associated with the measurement gap and the periodically scheduled communication resource.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a first control signaling including scheduling information including one or more first resources in a time domain for the UE to transmit or receive a set of repetitions of a channel and one or more second resources in the time domain for the UE to transmit or receive a termination indication related to the set of repetitions. The UE may transmit or receive, during at least one resource of the first resources, at least one repetition of the set of repetitions. Following transmitting or receiving the repetition, the UE may transmit or receive, during the second resources, the termination indication prior to a termination of the one or more first resources. The termination indication may be based on successfully transmitting or receiving the at least one repetition of the set of repetitions.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a paging early indication (PEI) indicating whether at least one UE in a UE group or a UE sub-group including the UE is to be paged in a paging occasion. In some aspects, a sequence on which the PEI is based is a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH)-based sequence. In some aspects, the PEI is a sequence-based PEI and is received based at least in part on a sequence configuration configured on the UE. In some aspects, the PEI is a sequence-based PEI and is received based at least in part on a distributed resource block allocation associated with the sequence.
