    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a first configuration of one or more channel state information reference signal resources and a second configuration of a channel state information report associated with the one or more channel state information reference signal resources. In some cases, the second configuration may include at least one of an indication of a codebook, a set of codebook restriction sets, and a configured bandwidth. The UE may then identify a mapping between one or more frequency-domain subbands of the configured bandwidth and each codebook restriction set of the set of codebook restriction sets, and transmit, to the base station, a report indicating one or more precoding matrix indicators from the codebook for each of the one or more frequency-domain subbands based on the mapping.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first reference signal (RS) from a first antenna panel of a plurality of antenna panels associated with at least one transmit receive point (TRP) of a scalable cell system that includes a set of anchor TRPs associated with a cell and a set of on-demand TRPs associated with the cell, wherein the first RS is associated with a frequency and a transmission configuration indicator (TCI). The UE may receive a second RS from a second antenna panel of the plurality of antenna panels, wherein the second RS is associated with the frequency and the TCI, and wherein the at least one TRP comprises an on-demand TRP. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a configuration of a plurality of bandwidth parts (BWPs) in a frequency band, wherein the configuration identifies a respective BWP-specific downlink (DL)-uplink (UL) pattern for each BWP of the plurality of BWPs, and wherein at least two of BWPs of the plurality of BWPs are configured with different BWP-specific DL-UL patterns and wherein each DL-UL pattern specifies which time intervals of a plurality of time intervals are dedicated to downlink and which time intervals of the plurality of time intervals are dedicated to uplink. The UE may communicate with the base station in one or more active BWPs of the plurality of BWPs using the respective BWP-specific DL-UL pattern for each of the one or more active BWPs.
