摘要： In one embodiment, a scheme is disclosed for effectuating remote control of a network node by a user equipment (UE) device. A message relating to a service feature is constructed and wrapped in a wrapper, which is then transmitted to the network node via an out-of-band control channel for invoking the requested service feature. In an exemplary implementation, the wrapper is comprised of a Short Message Service (SMS)-based message, an Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD)-based message, and a User-to-User Signaling (UUS)-based message.

摘要： A cross-technology coverage mapping system and method for modulating scanning behavior of a wireless user equipment (UE) device in a radio network environment. In one exemplary embodiment, the wireless UE device is operable to determine its geographic area location. A logic module of the wireless UE device is adapted for interrogating a database to determine which radio access technologies (RATs) have coverage in the geographic area location. Responsive to the interrogation, scanning by the wireless UE device is restricted to only those RATs that have coverage in the particular geographic area.

The method consists of successive steps of placing a first layer of filament onto a rotating mandrel while simultaneously applying resin to the first layer; winding additional layers of filament around the first layer without resin; and vacuum transfer molding additional resin onto the filament layers so that the additional resin impregnates these layers. The apparatus consists of a mandrel; a mandrel holder allowing rotation of the mandrel; a resin applicator adjacent the mandrel of the same length as the mandrel; a filament winder for winding filament onto the mandrel; and a vacuum transfer molding apparatus. A bat made by this method is also disclosed. The present invention also relates to a resin bath to apply resin to a line of filament.

摘要： In one embodiment, an IMS network node is operable, responsive to receiving a SIP INVITE request from an enterprise user to initiate origination of an outgoing cellular call to a called party, for establishing a first call leg to the enterprise user by sending a SIP INVITE message back to the enterprise user. The IMS network node includes functionality for establishing a second call leg to the called party. The first and second call legs are patched to establish an end-to-end communications path between the enterprise user and the called party, wherein an enterprise address instead of a non-enterprise address of the enterprise user is presented to the called party as a calling line identity with respect to the outgoing cellular call from the enterprise user.
