    摘要: A system acquires MR imaging data of a portion of patient anatomy associated with proton spin lattice relaxation time in a rotating frame using an RF (Radio Frequency) signal generator configured to generate RF excitation pulses and a magnetic field gradient generator configured to generate anatomical volume select magnetic field gradients for phase encoding and readout RF data acquisition. The RF signal generator and the gradient generator are configured to provide a rotating frame preparation pulse sequence comprising at least one of, (a) a T1 spin lattice relaxation in a rotating frame (T1ρ) preparation pulse sequence of adiabatic pulses comprising modulated RF pulses and modulated magnetic field gradients for slice selection and (b) a T2 spin-spin relaxation in a rotating frame (T2ρ) preparation pulse sequence of adiabatic pulses comprising modulated RF pulses and modulated magnetic field gradients for slice selection.

The microcoils produce magnetic fields that are directed into, and induce current in, the adjacent brain tissue. The implant is useful in studying or treating neurophysiological conditions associated with the deep regions of the brain such as Parkinson's disease, drug addiction, and depression.

    摘要: Systems and methods for designing parallel transmission radiofrequency (RF) pulses for use in a RF treatment. The methods include selecting a target region in a subject, and providing a plurality of specific absorption rate (SAR) matrices for estimation of SAR at locations within the subject. The methods also include determining a first set of SAR matrices for locations in the target region using the provided SAR matrices, and determining a second set of SAR matrices for locations not in the target region using the provided SAR matrices. The methods further include designing a plurality of RF pulses for achieving a target power deposition in the target region by using the first set of SAR matrices and the second set of SAR matrices in an optimization that determines a set of RF waveforms that produce a target average local SAR using the first set of SAR matrices while minimizing a local SAR and a global SAR using the second set of SAR matrices.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method of preparation of a supported catalyst composition suitable for the oxidation of ethane to ethylene and/or acetic acid, and/or the oxidation of ethylene to acetic acid, which supported catalyst composition comprises a catalyst, comprising one or more metal components, on a support comprising alpha-alumina, and which method comprises (a) forming a slurry comprising the one or more metal components, and alpha-alumina support particles or an alpha-alumina support precursor, (b) spray-drying the slurry, and, optionally, (c) calcining the spray-dried slurry to form the supported catalyst composition.     摘要: The present invention is directed to baking apparatuses that are adapted for use in baking cakes, custards and other dishes that involve the use of a water bath. In a disclosed embodiment of the invention a baking apparatus is disclosed that includes an inner and outer pan, which may be formed as an integral unit. The outer pan is preferably adapted to receive and hold water and the inner pan is adapted to receive a springform containing a cheesecake batter or other mixture. The side or sides of the inner pan are preferably watertight and prevent leakage of water into the inner pan. The present invention offers the advantage of water bath baking without the problem of water from the bath leaking into the springform that contains the cake batter.
