摘要: Certain implementations of the disclosed technology may include systems and methods for improving image tracking based on touch events. A method is provided for outputting an image for presentation using an electronic device, the electronic device having a display refresh rate. The method includes detecting one or more touch events received via a touch sensitive surface screen associated with the electronic device, each touch event having a touch event position. The method also includes generating, by the electronic device, a synthetic touch event position based on the one or more touch event positions, the synthetic touch event position calculated to coincide in time with a predicted time, the predicted time being within an offset relative to a display refresh time corresponding to the display refresh rate. The method also includes outputting data based at least in part one or more of the synthetic touch event position.

摘要: A safety relief fill valve adapted to being an interface for filling and relieving excess pressure from a closed fluid system. An insert shell retains a piston member for movement between fluid input and fluid holding configurations, the piston member being resiliently biased toward fluid holding configuration. When in fluid holding configuration, the piston member sealingly engages an inlet bore of the insert shell. When in fluid input configuration, the piston member allows fluid flow through the inlet bore. A housing receives the insert shell, thereby limiting relative axial movement and forming a cavity between a portion of the housing the insert shell. This cavity provides mechanical guidance and a flow channel for an overpressure relief system having fluid retaining and fluid relief configurations, the overpressure relief system being elastically biased toward fluid retaining configuration. The elastic bias is overcome responsive to excess pressure within the closed fluid system.

摘要: A mass spectrometer is disclosed comprising an ion trap wherein ions which have been temporally separated according to their mass to charge ratio or ion mobility enter the ion trap. Once at least some of the ions have entered the ion trap, a plurality of ion trapping regions are created along the length of the ion trap in order to fractionate the ions. Alternatively, the ions may be received within one or more axial trapping regions which are translated along the ion trap with a velocity which is progressively reduced to zero.

摘要: A system for disseminating information over a wide area network includes a central caching unit for storing data to be made available over the wide area network. Local access give users access to the wide area network. Distributed caching units associated with the local access nodes for store cacheable material. A satellite communications system establishes satellite communications between the central caching unit and the local caching units for the transfer of cacheable material from the central caching unit to the local units. A router at the local access nodes routes packets from users to a destination address. The router includes local routing tables containing the addresses of material cached at the associated local node and responds to routing requests for locally cached material by directing the requests to the local cache.
