Abstract: A radio communication terminal that increases the ACK/NACK resource utilization efficiency while preventing ACK/NACK collision, and that causes no unnecessary reduction of the PUSCH band in a system that transmits E-PDCCH control information. The radio communication terminal adopts a configuration including a receiving section that receives a control signal including an ACK/NACK index via an enhanced physical downlink control channel (E-PDCCH) transmitted using one configuration from among one or a plurality of configuration candidates, a control section that selects a resource to be used for an ACK/NACK signal of downlink data from among specified resources specified beforehand based on E-PDCCH configuration information used for transmission or reception of the E-PDCCH and the ACK/NACK index, and a transmitting section that transmits the ACK/NACK signal using the selected specified resource.

Abstract: In order to provide a transmission device and transmission method with which a response signal for random access preamble transmitted from a preamble transmission device is efficiently transmitted, setting unit in base station sets a first resource candidate group, which enables terminal capable of receiving a latch response transmitted by demodulation reference signal (DMRS) transmission to be selected, and a second resource candidate group, which enables terminal incapable of receiving a latch response transmitted by DMRS transmission but capable of receiving a latch response transmitted by cell-specific reference signal (CRS) transmission to be selected. Control unit selects DMRS transmission as the latch response transmission method when a resource in which latch preamble has been received is included in the first candidate group, but selects CRS transmission as the latch response transmission method when the resource is included in the second resource candidate group.

Abstract: A terminal includes: a receiver, which, in operation, receives downlink control information and downlink data; circuitry, which, in operation, determines, based on the downlink control information and an offset, a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource used for transmission of a response signal for the downlink data; and a transmitter, which, in operation, transmits the response signal using the determined PUCCH resource. A first offset is used as the offset when the terminal is configured in a coverage enhancement mode, in which the response signal is allowed to be transmitted repeatedly for one of plural repetition levels in a plurality of subframes, where the first offset is configured for each of the plural repetition levels. The first offset is different from a second offset, which is used when the terminal is not configured in the coverage enhancement mode.

Abstract: A communication apparatus includes circuitry and a transmitter. The circuitry maps a precoded downlink control signal to one of a plurality of mapping candidates. The precoded downlink control signal is prepared using a first precoding for single-antenna port transmission with a single antenna port in localized allocation mode. The precoded downlink control signal is prepared using a second precoding for multi-antenna ports transmission with two antenna ports in distributed allocation mode. The plurality of mapping candidates is comprised of a plurality of aggregation levels, and one or more of the aggregation levels that is higher than a boundary among the plurality of aggregation levels is associated with only the multi-antenna ports transmission, the boundary being determined based on signaling indicated from the base station apparatus. The transmitter transmits the precoded downlink control signal.
