Abstract: An organic light-emitting display apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. An organic light-emitting display apparatus includes: a substrate including an emission region and a non-emission region surrounding the emission region; a display device in the emission region of the substrate; an insulating layer in the non-emission region and including a hole having a lower portion having a first width and an upper portion having a second width less than the first width; and an encapsulation member covering the display device and the insulating layer and filling an inside of the hole.

Abstract: A display device may include a base substrate including display and peripheral regions adjacent to each other, an organic light emitting device, and an encapsulation member. A module hole, a first blocking groove, and a second blocking groove may be defined in the base substrate. The module hole may be defined in the display region to penetrate the base substrate from a front surface to a rear surface. The first and second blocking grooves may be provided to enclose the module hole. A distance from the rear surface of the base substrate to a top surface of the encapsulation member between the first and second blocking grooves is smaller than that in a region outside the second blocking groove.

Abstract: A display panel includes a base substrate including a front surface and a rear surface and having first and second holes, and a pixel layer on the base substrate. A display area is defined in the front surface. The first hole overlaps with the display area and penetrates the front and rear surfaces. The second hole overlaps with the display area, is adjacent to the first hole, and is recessed from the front surface. The base substrate includes a first base layer including the rear surface, a first barrier layer on the first base layer and including first inorganic films having a first refractive index, and second inorganic films having a second refractive index, a second base layer on the first barrier layer, and a second barrier layer on the second base layer and including the front surface. The first and second inorganic films are alternately stacked.

Abstract: A display device capable of improving reliability (e.g., impact resistance) of a display panel having a through-hole, and a method of manufacturing a display device are provided. A display device includes: a camera module including a lens; a display panel including a through-hole overlapping the camera module on a plane; a window glass on the display panel; and a filling member in the through-hole and opposing each of the camera module and the window glass. A refractive index difference between an end portion of the filling member and the lens is about 0.7 or less, and a refractive index difference between another end portion of the filling member and the window glass is about 0.5 or less.

Abstract: A display panel includes a peripheral region adjacent to a display region. The display region includes a hole peripheral region, and a recessed region is overlapped with the hole peripheral region. The display panel also includes a barrier layer with a penetrating opening overlapped with the recessed region, a circuit layer on the barrier layer and including a transistor and insulating layers, and a device layer including an organic light emitting area coupled to the circuit layer. In addition, a module hole is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and penetrates the base substrate, and a first groove is overlapped with the hole peripheral region and corresponds to a portion of the base substrate that is recessed from a top surface of the barrier layer and that encloses the module hole. The insulating layers include inorganic layers and an organic layer having side portions enclosing the module hole.
