    Abstract: A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, an image data corrector configured to generate a corrected image data by adjusting an image data and a data driver providing data signals to the plurality of pixels based on the corrected image data. The image data corrector divides the display panel into a plurality of unit areas, and adjust the image data for a unit area among the plurality of unit areas by using a full image load for the entire display panel, a first image load for the unit area, and a second image load for peripheral unit areas surrounding the unit area among the plurality of unit areas.

    Abstract: A gate driving circuit includes: a plurality of stages, a k-th stage from among the plurality of stages, the k-th stage including: an input circuit to receive a previous carry signal and to pre-charge a first node; a first output circuit to output a k-th gate signal; a second output circuit to output a k-th carry signal; a discharge hold circuit to transmit a clock signal to a second node, and to discharge the second node with a second low voltage; a first pull down circuit to discharge the k-th gate signal with a first low voltage, and to discharge the first node and the k-th carry signal with the second low voltage; and a discharge circuit for discharging the k-th carry signal with the second low voltage in response to the previous carry signal.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel; and a frequency controller which receives an image data signal and an input frequency information and outputs the image data signal and a timing control signal. The frequency controller includes: an image processor which receives the image data signal; a frame memory which stores the image data signal; an output frequency determining unit which receives the input frequency information and determines an output frequency based on a variation amount of the input frequency; and an image output unit which receives the image data signal from the image processor, receives an output frequency information from the output frequency determining unit, and outputs the image data signal and the timing control signal. When an input frequency varies, the output frequency determining unit determines the output frequency based on the following equations: K =  FREQ - P_FREQ M_FREQ  × SLOPE + OFFSET , and FREQ ′ = FREQ × K + P_FREQ × ( 1 - K ) .

    Abstract: A display apparatus includes a timing controller, a data driver and a display panel. The timing controller generates a mode selection signal and output image data in response to input image data. The data driver generates first through N-th data voltages in response to the mode selection signal and the output image data and applies the first through N-th data voltages to first through N-th data lines. The display panel is connected to the first through N-th data lines. During the first operation mode, each of a polarity pattern of first through M-th data voltages and a polarity pattern of (M+1)-th through N-th data voltages repeats a first polarity pattern. During the second operation mode, the polarity pattern of the first through M-th data voltages repeats the first polarity pattern, and the polarity pattern of the (M+1)-th through N-th data voltages repeats a second polarity pattern.
