摘要: A test apparatus includes: a compensation coefficient calculator configured to calculate a main compensation coefficient for a main gradation and a sub compensation coefficient for a sub gradation based on a detected image signal; a primary predictor configured to determine a representative value of each of a plurality of blocks of a display panel based on the detected image signal, and output a prediction compensation coefficient for the sub gradation based on the main compensation coefficient and the representative value corresponding to each of the plurality of blocks; a secondary predictor configured to determine a flag based on the sub compensation coefficient and the prediction compensation coefficient; and a controller configured to output the main compensation coefficient, the representative value, and the flag stored in a memory as compensation data.

摘要: A tiled display device includes a plurality of display panels coupled to each other, where each of the plurality of display panels includes an edge region adjacent to a boundary line between the plurality of display panels, and a panel driver which multiplies input gray levels of input image data for the plurality of display panels by an adaptive gain, generates boundary compensated image data by adding boundary compensation gray levels to the input gray levels multiplied by the adaptive gain for the edge region, and drives the plurality of display panels based on the boundary compensated image data. The adaptive gain is gradually decreased over a plurality of frame periods in a case where a sum of each of the input gray levels for the edge region and a corresponding one of the boundary compensation gray levels exceeds a maximum gray level.

The method also includes generating compensation data including compensation values at the one or more reference gray levels and the maximum reference gray level. The compensation data may be generated based on the one or more second capture images and a portion of the first capture image corresponding to the box data.

摘要: A display panel driving apparatus includes a data driving part, a comparing part, a data signal controlling part, and a gate driving part. The data driving part generates a dummy data signal in response to dummy image data, outputs the dummy data signal to a dummy data line of a display panel, generates a data signal in response to image data, and outputs the data signal to a data line of the display panel. The comparing part outputs a comparison signal in response to the dummy data signal and a delayed dummy data signal generated due to a load of the dummy data line. The comparison signal indicates how much the delayed dummy data signal is delayed with respect to the dummy data signal. The data signal controlling part controls the data signal using the comparison signal.
