摘要: In an ink jet recording head, after a plate-shaped piezoelectric element is positioned and fixed onto a fixing plate, the piezoelectric element is sliced into a large number of vibrators and the leading ends of the vibrators are embracingly held in positioning holes 33 respectively formed in a top surface of a holding frame and are thus positioned in the surface direction thereof. Further, a cavity unit is positioned and fixed on the top surface of the holding frame.

摘要: The recording medium guide member is placed along the main scanning direction scanned by the carriage mounted with a recording head, and ink-receiver holes for receiving ink discharged from the recording head are formed on the guide member in positions beyond the edges of the recording medium being conveyed. Ink absorbing materials are placed in said ink-receiver holes, and a discharged ink accumulating means that cumulatively counts the amount of ink discharged into the ink absorbing materials is provided. The amount of ink discharged into the ink-receiver holes can be controlled by the discharged ink accumulation means so that contamination of the left and right edges or the top and bottom as well as left and right edges of the recording medium, caused by excessive ink collecting in the ink-receiver holes, can be avoided.

摘要: In an ink recording head having at least four nozzle opening rows, each row having nozzle openings so as to extend straightly in a sheet forward direction, the nozzle opening rows are staggered by a single dot in the sheet forward direction in an order different from the physically arranged order. The maximum distance between nozzle opening rows to print vertically adjacent dots becomes smaller by L1 or L2 than at least the physical maximum distance L1+L3+L2, L1 or L2 being a distance between the outermost nozzle opening row and the inner nozzle opening row. As a result, the relative displacement in the vertical direction can be reduced by such distance L1 or L2 compared with a recording head in which nozzle opening rows are sequentially staggered in the auxiliary scanning direction in the physically arranged order.

摘要: An inkjet recording head having a head substrate (1); at least a group of pressure chambers (2) arranged so as to be recessed over an entire surface of the head substrate; ink ejecting nozzles (7), each of which is opened so as to face a surface opposite to that of the substrate by extending through a flow path (5) that passes through the head substrate thicknesswise from one end of each of the pressure chambers; and an annular ink preparation chamber (4) communicating with the other end of each of the pressure chambers. The ink preparation chamber that communicates with each of the pressure chambers is arranged so as to be annular, thereby improving the air bubble discharging characteristics and preventing disruption of ink ejection. In addition, the advantage that the ink can be supplied to each of the ink ejecting nozzles uniformly ensures excellent printing quality. Furthermore, the ink chamber is recessed into an opposite surface of the head substrate opposite the pressure chambers.

摘要: A method of producing an oxidation catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas, excellent in the function of oxidizing high boiling point materials such as particulates and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons contained in the exhaust gas of internal-combustion engines is provided. Metal elements A and B are selected so that the value of the ionic radius of metal element A/the ionic radius of metal element B is in the range of from 1.349 to 1.580. After reacting the grind mixed material of the first metal element A, the second metal element B, and urea, the reactant material is grind mixed, and thereafter subjected to firing at 600 to 1200° C. for 1 to 5 hours. By doing so, an oxidation catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas comprising a composite oxide represented by the general formula ABO3 is obtained.
