摘要: This invention relates to azirconium solution or sol comprising: (a) zirconium, (b) nitrate, acetate and/or chloride ions, and (c) one or more complexing agents being an organic compound comprising at least one of the following functional groups: an amine, an organosulphate, a sulphonate, a hydroxyl, an ether or a carboxylic acid group, wherein the molar ratio of components (a):(b) is 1:0.7 to 1:4.0, the molar ratio of components (a):(c) is 1:0.0005 to 1:0.1, and the pH of the zirconium solution or sol is less than 5. The invention also relates to a process for preparing a zirconium solution or sol, the process comprising the steps of: (a) dissolving a zirconium salt in nitric, acetic and/or hydrochloric acid, and (b) adding one or more complexing agents to the resulting solution, the one or more complexing agents being an organic compound comprising at least one of the following functional groups: an amine, an organosulphate, a sulphonate, a hydroxyl, an ether or a carboxylic acid group, and (c) heating the solution or sol to a temperature of at least 75° C. In addition, the invention relates to products formed from the zirconium solution or sol or obtainable by the process.

摘要: The present invention relates to an oxidation catalyst, a method for preparing the same, and a filter for exhaust gas purification comprising the same and, more specifically, to an oxidation catalyst, a method for preparing the same, and a filter for exhaust gas purification comprising the same, the oxidation catalyst being formed by comprising an amorphous metal alloy powder, thereby being preparable at a low cost, being capable of enhancing purification efficiency for exhaust gas when applied to the filter for exhaust gas purification, and being capable of deriving reliability enhancement for operation of an exhaust gas purifier having the filter for exhaust gas purification mounted therein. To this end, the present invention provides an oxidation catalyst, a method for preparing the same, and a filter for exhaust gas purification comprising the same, the oxidation catalyst characterized by being coated onto the carrier surface of the filter for exhaust gas purification and being formed by comprising an amorphous metal alloy powder.

摘要: A ceria-zirconia-based composite oxide which has a crystal phase of the composite oxide of a single solid-solution phase even after exposure to a high temperature over a long time and has a small change in mode pore diameter and in pore volume before and after a high temperature durability test is provided. This is realized by a ceria-zirconia-based composite oxide having a chemical composition, by mass ratio, of zirconia: 30% to 80%, a total of oxides of one or more elements selected from yttrium and rare earth elements having atomic number 57 to 71 (except cerium and promethium): 0% to 20%, and a balance of ceria and unavoidable impurities, in which ceria-zirconia-based composite oxide, the composite oxide is deemed to be a single solid-solution phase in an X-ray diffraction pattern after a durability test which heats the oxide in the atmosphere at a temperature condition of 1100° C. for 5 hours and has a ratio (b/a) of mode pore diameter (b) of a pore distribution after a durability test which heats the oxide in the atmosphere at a temperature condition of 1100° C. for 5 hours to the mode pore diameter (a) before the durability test of 1.0≤b/a≤2.0 and/or has a ratio (d/c) of pore volume (d) after a durability test which heats the oxide in the atmosphere at a temperature condition of 1100° C. for 5 hours to the pore volume (c) before the durability test of 0.20≤d/c≤1.00.

摘要: The exhaust gas-purifying catalyst of the invention contains oxide particles having interdispersed therein A crystallites that are loaded with a noble metal and B crystallites that are not loaded with a noble metal. The A crystallites loaded with a noble metal are composed of an oxide containing at least one of zirconium (Zr) and cerium (Ce). The B crystallites not loaded with a noble metal are composed of a cerium (Ce)-containing oxide which has a higher Ce content (mol %) than the oxide making up the A crystallites. The oxide particles have a specific surface area after 5 hours of heat treatment at 1,150° C. in open air of 30 m2/g or more.

摘要: A nitrous oxide (N2O) removal catalyst composite is provided, comprising a N2O removal catalytic material on a substrate, the catalytic material comprising a rhodium (Rh) component supported on a ceria-based support, wherein the catalyst composite has a H2-consumption peak of about 100° C. or less as measured by hydrogen temperature-programmed reduction (H2-TPR). Methods of making and using the same are also provided.

摘要: Provided are a catalyst for internal combustion engine exhaust gas purification, including a first catalyst component region (a) having a catalyst component layer containing Rh at a concentration of 0.1 to 3.0 g/L at a length of 3 to 30 mm on an upstream side, a second catalyst component region (b) having a catalyst component layer containing Pd at a concentration of 1.0 to 20.0 g/L at a length of 10 to 100 mm on a downstream side, and a third catalyst region (c) mainly containing rhodium at a concentration of 0.05 to 1.0 g/L and an oxygen storage material at a concentration of 30 to 150 g/L at a length of 25 to 150 mm, if necessary, on a monolithic support along a flow of the exhaust gas as a noble metal catalyst active component, and a system for purifying internal combustion engine exhaust gas using the catalyst. These suppress formation and discharge of N2O at the time of purification of exhaust gas, and make purification of NOx and HC possible with a small amount of a noble metal from the time of cold starting.

摘要: Disclosed is a catalyst for methanation reaction producing methane with high conversion by reaction of hydrogen with carbon dioxide, or a gas mixture of carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide, or a gas mixture containing these compounds as the main components. The catalyst is prepared by the steps of mixing (A) aqueous zirconia sol with salts of (B) stabilizing element(s), which is selected from the group consisting of Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Gd, Dy, Ca and Mg, and (C) iron group element(s), drying and calcining the mixture to obtain a catalyst precursor, and subsequent reduction of the precursor. The catalyst comprises, by atomic %, A: 18-70%, B: 1-20% and C: 25-80% based on the elemental states of the metals. The catalyst is characterized by multiple oxide of tetragonal zirconia structure, in which not only the stabilizing element(s) but also a part of the iron group element(s) is incorporated, and on which the iron group element(s) in the metallic state is supported.
