摘要: A physical quantity sensor (100), which can detect multiple physical quantities simultaneously has flexibility or bendability over the entire body thereof. The sensor (100) has a first electrode layer (2) formed on a substrate (1) and first and second piezoelectric elements (3a, 3b) arranged in parallel on the electrode layer (2). Two additional electrode layers (4a, 4b) are formed on the piezoelectric elements (3a, 3b). The substrate (1), the electrode layer (2), first piezoelectric element (3a), one of the additional electrode layers (4a) and protective layers (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e) constitute a first physical quantity detection unit (6), and the substrate (1), the first electrode layer (2), the second piezoelectric element (3b) and the other additional electrode layer (4b) (a fourth electrode layer) constitute a second physical quantity detection unit (7).

摘要: Herein disclosed is a NOTIFICATION APPARATUS comprising a behavior detecting unit for detecting a behavior of a vehicle, a video display unit for displaying a video, an imaging unit for acquiring a video showing the front of the vehicle in a traveling direction; and a control unit for controlling a display mode of the acquired video displayed by the video display means in accordance with the behavior detected by the behavior detecting unit, thereby displaying the video taken by the imaging unit selectively in a full screen of the video display unit by an interrupt way and a split screen of the video display unit while the television picture is displayed. The notification apparatus thus constructed can enhance riding comfort of vehicle passengers even though the vehicle passengers may watch, for example, a television picture.

摘要: A map displaying apparatus for improving the visual recognition of an object displayed as a 3D image. A map data acquisition section acquires map data to be displayed for navigation purposes. A displayed state estimation section receives the map data acquired by the map data acquisition section, and estimates a displayed state of the displayed object based on the map data. A display mode determination section determines whether the displayed state as estimated by the displayed state estimation section satisfies a predetermined criterion or not, thereby determining whether to modify a default display mode. When determining that a modification is to be applied, the display mode determination section modifies the default display mode to determine an actual display mode. In accordance with the determined display mode of each displayed object, the displayed image generation section generates image data for displaying a 3D map from the acquired map data.

摘要: In a sound signal playback machine and method thereof, predetermined high frequency components are extracted from sound signals SL to SC of a main channel by high frequency pass filters 21 to 25, and these high frequency components are respectively played back by speakers. At the same time, predetermined low frequency components are extracted from sound signals SL to SC of the main channel by low frequency pass filters. These low frequency components and sound signal SLFE exclusively used for the low frequency band are added to each other, and the thus obtained addition signal is played back by the speaker 66. In this case, the degree of the low frequency pass filters is set higher than the degree of the high frequency pass filters, and the high frequency component is delayed.

摘要: Based on searched route information and map data, a target intersection for guidance is specified. For the specified target intersection, lane data regarding the number of lanes and lane control of roads being connected thereto is read, and then recommended lane information which indicates which lane to take when entering the target intersection and to exit therefrom is generated. Based on information about the target intersection and the lane data, a simplified intersection image of the target intersection for lane guidance is generated. Based on the recommended lane information, a running path which passes through the recommended lanes for entering into and exiting from the target intersection is generated, and is combined with the intersection image. Then, lane guidance information for displaying the resultant intersection image is outputted with a predetermined timing. As such, guidance can be visually made on a screen indicating which lanes to take to enter into and exit from the intersection.
