摘要： A print head of this invention has a plurality of heater boards, and each heater board has a plurality of heating resistors, driver circuits corresponding to the heating resistors, one shiftregister for inputting serial data, a data latch circuit for latching print data input from the shift register, a pre-heat data latch circuit for latching selection data of selecting one or several of pre-heat signals input from the shift register, and a pre-heat selection circuit for selecting one or a plurality of pre-heat signals in accordance with the selection data latched in the pre-heat data latch circuit. In a print operation, one or several of the plurality of input pre-heat signals are selected to pre-heat the heating resistors, and when a main heat signal is input thereafter, the heating resistors are driven in accordance with the print data latched by the data latch circuit, thus performing the print operation.

摘要： A liquid ejecting head for a liquid ejecting apparatus for performing a recording operation by ejecting liquid from the liquid ejecting head includes as essential components a base plate having a plurality of liquid ejecting elements, and a grooved member having a plurality of grooves formed thereon corresponding to the liquid ejecting elements. The grooved member is connected to the base plate and composed of a grooved element and a supporting member. A liquid ejecting apparatus operable for performing a recording operation includes as essential components a liquid ejecting head of the foregoing type and a signal supplying unit for supplying,a series of signals to the liquid ejecting head for activating a plurality of liquid ejecting elements. A method of producing a liquid ejecting head of the foregoing type is practices by way of the steps of preparing a base plate having a plurality of liquid ejecting elements, forming a, plurality,of supporting portions on a supporting member, forming a grooves member including a grooved element, and then connecting the grooved element to a resin member constituting a part of the grooved member via the supporting portions.

摘要： An ink jet head comprises a plurality of ink liquid paths in which energy generating elements are formed, a common liquid chamber communicated with the plurality of ink liquid paths, and an air chamber which is communicated with the common liquid chamber via a communication section formed at substantially a central portion of the air chamber and which ls formed along the longitudinal direction of the common liquid chamber. This arrangement of the ink jet head enables air in the air chamber to act on refilling behavior of ink in each of the ink liquid paths so that refilling in each of the ink liquid paths is not delayed.

摘要： An ink jet recording apparatus comprises a recording head for recording on a recording medium, which recording head includes a head body member having a plurality of thermal energy generating elements to discharge liquid for recording and an orifice plate having a plurality of discharge ports for discharging liquid therethrough in response to the thermal energy generated by the generating elements. The orifice plate includes a junction portion attached to the head body member, extension portions protruding from two ends of the junction portion and positioning openings in the extension portions, which positioning openings are precisely located relative to the discharge ports. The apparatus includes positioning pins flanking a head-mounting opening in the apparatus that accepts the head body member, and the positioning pins cooperate with the positioning openings to accurately position the discharge ports in the apparatus when the head body member is inserted in the head-mounting opening.

摘要： An optical system for a color copier in which light images of blue, green and red produced by color separation are formed one on each of three photoconductive elements, then developed by toner of associated colors, and then transferred one upon another onto a paper. A first mirror is disposed in an optical path to which light representative of an image of an original document is led through an image-forming lens and a mirror group. Light reflected by the first mirror is focused onto a first photoconductive element. Light transmitted through the first mirror is split by a second mirror which is located in a position for intercepting a part of the width of a slit for exposure. Light reflected by the second mirror is focused onto a second photoconductive element. Further, light outside the range of the second mirror is reflected by a third mirror to be focused onto a third photoconductive element. The first mirror has a spectral characteristic which reflects light of one of three colors, i.e., blue, green and red while transmitting light of the other two colors. All of the first to third mirrors comprise total reflection mirrors, or only the first mirror comprises a half-mirror. A reflection from the first mirror is of a particular color to which the photoconductive elements show the smallest amount of reaction. Light of wavelengths outside a predetermined range of each color which is to be reflected by any of the mirrors is cut by using the reflection characteristic of the mirror (as well as a transmission characteristic in the case of the half-mirror) and the transmission characteristics of a filter which is associated with the mirror.

In a counterpart demodulating system, a pair of demodulated signals is derived from the amplitude modulated signal and converted into reproductions of the respective digital signals according to an inverse of the predetermined rule.
