Abstract:
An exemplary current regulating circuit of LED string includes a capacitor, an inductor, a diode, a switch and a detection circuit. First and second terminals of the capacitor respectively are connected to a low voltage and a preset voltage. A first terminal of the inductor is connected to the low voltage. Positive and negative terminals of the diode are respectively connected to a second terminal of the inductor and a high voltage. First and second terminals of the switch are respectively connected to the second terminal of the inductor and the preset voltage. The detection circuit detects the low voltage to thereby switch ON-OFF states of the switch in demand. Moreover, a LED illumination device using the current regulating circuit also is provided.
Abstract:
A fabrication method for discharge lamps is disclosed, which comprises providing a glass tube of diameter between 2 and 20 mm, the glass tube having an inner wall coated with a fluorescent phosphor and having a through-passage with a first end and a second end, connecting a first dielectric electrode to the first end of the glass tube by applying an adhesive to a contacted portion of the glass tube and the first dielectric electrode, and sintering the contacted portion of the glass tube and the first dielectric electrode to securely connect the glass tube and the first dielectric electrode. Subsequently, processes of filling and sealing are conducted to complete the fabrication of the discharge lamps.
Abstract:
A method for fabricating a roller mold is provided, including providing a roller substrate, wherein the roller substrate is a cylinder and has a curved surface. An inorganic resist layer is formed over the curved surface of the roller substrate. A laser exposure device is provided for irradiating the inorganic resist layer with a focused laser, causing phase change of the inorganic resist layer at exposed regions. The inorganic resist layer in the exposed regions is removed to form a nano-pattern over the roller substrate.
Abstract:
A boot up method makes an electronic system boot up by a processor according to a boot code in a NAND flash memory and includes the following steps. First, the flash memory storing a boot code or boot codes is provided. Next, a first boot code is copied to an XIP memory in response to a hardware reset signal. Then, the processor executes the first boot code in the XIP memory and thus makes the system boot up. Next, whether the system boots up successfully is judged after a time delay. When the system fails to boot up, the system is reset and a second boot code is copied to the XIP memory. Thereafter, the processor executes the second boot code in the XIP memory and thus boots up the system. If the system still fails to boot up, the above-mentioned steps are repeated until the system boots up successfully.
Abstract:
A system for controlling photoflash includes a signal processing unit, a calculating unit, a photoflash module and an adjusting unit. The photoflash module includes a capacitor. The signal processing unit is configured for analyzing image information to get a current brightness value of the image, and the calculating unit is configured for calculating a first photoflash time of the photoflash module based on a first voltage value of the capacitor via analyzing the current brightness value. The adjusting unit is configured for adjusting the first photoflash time to get a second photoflash time according to a second voltage value of the capacitor, and outputting the second photoflash time to the photoflash module to control flashing of the photoflash module.

Abstract:
A modified clay is provided, which includes a layered clay material intercalated with a modifier having a conjugated double bond and capable of producing free radicals when heated. A clay-polymer composite is also provided, which includes a polymer material and the modified clay, wherein the modified clay is dispersed in the polymer material and at least partially exfoliated. The modifier is capable of producing free radicals when heated to scavenge free radicals generated from thermal cracking or burning of the polymer material to prevent further thermal cracking of the polymer material.
Abstract:
An optical actuator is disclosed. The optical actuator includes a seat bearing the optical element, a yoke comprising an end, a suspension system comprising at least one spring sheet connecting the seat and the end, and a driving device moving the seat relative to the yoke. The spring sheet constrains the movement of the seat. The spring sheet includes an inner connecting portion connected to the seat, an outer connecting portion surrounding the inner connecting portion and connected to the end, and a spring structure disposed between the inner and outer connecting portions and connecting the inner and outer connecting portions.
