摘要: A glass run channel mountable along a window frame and made of a thermoplastic elastomer includes a base portion, a pair of side wall portions extending from the base portion, and projections that engage the window frame. A non-slip portion made of material having a larger coefficient of friction with respect to the window frame than that of the thermoplastic elastomer is provided on a face of the base portion opposite to the window frame. The non-slip portion is less slidable on the window frame than the thermoplastic elastomer, and further less slidable due to an orthogonal load produced when the glass run channel is mounted and pressed. Therefore, the glass run channel is stably maintained at a predetermined position in the window frame even if a force is exerted by sliding the window pane repeatedly.

摘要: Disclosed is an elongated absorbent article including a liquid absorbent layer. In a region where the liquid absorbent layer is present, compressed grooves are disposed to extend symmetrically about a longitudinal centerline, defining a central region therebetween and side regions laterally outside the central region and adjacent the compressed grooves. The central region includes front, intermediate and rear central regions. The intermediate central region has a widened portion in which the separation distance is larger than in regions positioned forward and rearward thereof. Stiffness of the side regions is lower in portions laterally outside the intermediate central region than in portions laterally outside the front and rear central regions.

摘要: An adhesive agent is uniformly applied to a back surface of a window pane, the application made to an area where a covering member is planned to be adhered and to an area where a positioning fixture and a holding portion are planned to be adhered, the application is also made continuously such that adhesive agent layers of both planned adhesion areas being continuous with an adhesive agent continuous area in between. After that, the window pane and the positioning fixture are set in an injection mold and a polymer material is injected in the mold. This results that the covering member and the holding portion are formed into a shape where they are connected by a connection portion for material flow, which connection portion is formed at a position other than the adhesive agent continuous area. The forming results that the covering member and the holding portion are adhered and fixed to the back surface of the window pane with the adhesive agent layers in between. After the forming process above, the connection portion for material flow is removed.

摘要: A window for automobiles or the like, including a frame member which is composed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material and formed integrally with a window plate. The frame member includes a substantially U-shaped cross-sectional portion formed of lip and web sections which are spaced from and opposed to each other on outer and rear surfaces of the window plate, respectively, and connected with each other by a bridge section having a continuous hollow inner space therein. The frame member is formed by injecting into a mold cavity a relatively small amount, as compared with the volume of the mold cavity, of molten thermoplastic synthetic resin material, and by injecting compressed gas into the resin material to urge the resin material against inner surfaces of the mold defining the cavity.

摘要: There is disclosed an absorbent article including: a main body; and leakage preventing side walls extending in the longitudinal direction of the main body and lying opposite one another in the widthwise direction of the main body. Each leakage preventing side wall has a raised portion which is joined at a root end onto a liquid-receiving side surface of the main body and raised therefrom to have a free end positioned apart from the liquid-receiving side surface. Each leakage preventing side wall is provided with a first elastically shrinking member for applying an elastic shrinking force along a shrinking action line approaching the free end from the root end as it extends from the two longitudinal end positions of the raised portion of the leakage preventing side wall toward the longitudinally midway position of the leakage preventing side wall.

摘要: A method of producing an elongated member having a main body portion and terminal portions extending form ends thereof includes bending an elongated strip between circumferential faces of first forming rolls and second forming rolls having parallel central rotational axes. The circumferential faces of the first forming rolls include annular main body portion bending sections that form the main body portion in the strip and adjacent transition portion bending sections that form adjacent transition portions in the strip, thereby forming an intermediate stage elongated member. The transition portions have a cross-section that changes continuously from the annular cross-section of the main body portion to a different cross-section of the terminal portions. The intermediate elongated member is further formed by annular main body portion and transition portion bending sections of the second forming rolls corresponding to the respective bending sections of the first forming rolls in circumferential length but having a different axial dimension such that the intermediate stage elongated member approaches a shape of the fully-formed elongated member.

摘要: A synthetic resin window, e.g. for automotive vehicles, includes a window body member in the form of a sheet of transparent or semi-transparent synthetic resin, a hard coated layer covering and fusion-bonded to at the outer surface of the window body member, a frame member of a synthetic resin formed integrally with the body member to extend along a peripheral edge thereof, and connection between the frame member and the outer surface of the window body member. The connection may include a core element which is integrally connected to the window body member in a form-locking manner from outer and inner sides thereof, and at least partly embedded in said frame member. Alternatively, the connection may include bare surfaces of the synthetic resin forming the window body member, which are not covered by the hard coated layer and which are directly adhered to the frame member by an adhesive agent.
