    摘要: An information retrieving apparatus has a retrieving section, a security judging section and an input/display section. The retrieving section retrieves whether or not the security level of an inquirer is registered to a security DB section with respect to a retrieving request of retrieved data. When this security level of the inquirer is registered, the retrieving section retrieves retrieved data and a security level of the retrieved data stored to a data memory section. The security judging section judges whether the security level of the inquirer and the security level of the retrieved data are in conformity with each other or not. The input/display section displays the retrieving request, an inquirer's name, etc. when no security level of the inquirer is registered to the security DB section with respect to the retrieving request of desirable retrieved data. The input/display section can additionally store the security level of the inquirer to the security DB section.

    摘要: When performing learning for a neural network, a plurality of learning vectors which belong to an arbitrary category are used, and self-organization learning in the category is carried out. As a result, the plurality of learning vectors which belong to the category are automatically clustered, and the contents of weight vectors in the neural network are set to representative vectors which exhibit common features of the learning vectors of each cluster. Then, teacher-supervised learning is carried out for the neural network, using the thus set contents of the weight vectors as initial values thereof. In the learning process, an initial value of each weight vector is set to the representative vector of each cluster obtained by clustering. Therefore, the number of calculations required until the teacher-supervised learning is converged is greatly reduced.

    摘要: An acoustic processing unit for a speech recognition system is characterized in that the parameters are extracted from the speech data, including correlation functions, the zero crossing number of the original waveforms, the zero crossing number of the differential waveforms, and the average level of the waveforms. A suitable threshold is selected from a plurality of thresholds preliminarily stored, depending on the inputted speech volume level. The inputted speech volume level of the speaker is detected so that feedback of the detected volume level is obtained. The selected threshold set is then compared with each of the parameters to thereby make the phonemic classification. Because the plurality of threshold sets are thus automatically selected depending on the inputted speech volume level, flexible phonemic classification can be obtained to exactly detect the speech sections.
