摘要： The disclosure relates to a cartridge type supply device for use with a portable, one-hand-operable labeling machine of the type including a printing mechanism with printing types arranged for imprinting inscriptions on each of a series of labels traveling along a predetermined path through the machine toward a dispensing opening of the machine. The ink supply device comprises a cartridge holder pivotally supported at one end thereof within the labeling machine in a readily detachable manner and a replaceable inking roller cartridge supported detachably by the other end of said cartridge holder said cartridge including a rotatable inking roller. The cartridge holder is spring-biased to urge the inking roller onto surfaces of the printing types of the printing mechanism of the labeling machine. When the inking roller cartridge is used up, the cartridge holder can be taken out of the machine together with the used cartridge. A cartridge box for housing spare inking roller cartridges is provided.

摘要： An improved rotary printing head for being mounted on a portable labeling machine or the like comprising a plurality of side-by-side indexing wheels all having polygonal shape; the peripheral sides of the polygonal indexing wheels are either provided with types or they support stamp belts having types thereon; the indexing wheels are supported at their axes by a fixed positioning member which is provided with a respective, elastic engagement piece for each indexing wheel, and the engagement pieces each have index wheel engagement projections; particular desired types on the indexing wheels can be accurately positioned by rotating the indexing wheel and then bringing the engagement projections into engagement with indexing grooves formed on the inside surface of the indexing wheels.

摘要： A core holding device for rotatably holding a core on which a label strip, having separable labels to be printed and applied, is wound. The holding device includes a core holding member equipped with a plurality of flexible, resilient fingers for removably, resiliently holding the core so that the core and holding member rotate together. There is a mounting bracket with a circular recess for removably and rotationally mounting the core holding member. Spaced from, but attached to, the mounting bracket is a juxtaposed core looseness preventing bracket. This bracket is pivotable between a first position to provide easy access into the space between the brackets for mounting and removing the core and a second position which prevents the label strip from falling away from the core. The facing contacting surfaces of the core holding member and the mounting bracket act as two brake surfaces which contact frictionally for imparting a predetermined braking force to the rotation of the core holding member so that the label strip may be prevented from getting slack while it is being fed.

摘要： [PROBLEMS] To provide a seed koji for brewing, which is suitable for wheat allergy patients and wheat intolerance patients (patients with celiac disease) and the medium of which is completely free from wheat-origin component, a koji for brewing, brewed foods and a method of producing the same. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Whole soybeans are hulled. A koji mold belonging to the genus Aspergillus is inoculated into the soybean hull thus obtained and cultured therein to give a solid seed koji. By using this seed koji, brewed foods (for example, soy sauce, miso, a liquid seasoning and so on) free from wheat-origin component are produced. Thus, it is possible to obtain a seed koji which is free from wheat-origin component, shows a high sporulation rate of the koji mold and has excellent koji-making properties. Use of this seed koji makes it possible to produce brewed foods which are comparable in qualities to the brewed foods produced by using a seed koji which has been cultured in a wheat medium.

The label rolling cassette may be removably attached to a label applier which includes a feed roller that is manually operated for feeding the turned back backing paper web to delaminate the labels. The cassette also includes a bail for sharply turning the label strip around the delaminating turning pin. A printer may be used to print the labels and send them to the label rolling core on the cassette.

摘要： Herein disclosed is a portable type label applying apparatus for delaminating printed labels, which are temporarily adhered in series to a web of backing paper and for applying them to articles. The label applying apparatus comprises a label rolling cassette removably attached to a printer which is adapted to print the unprinted labels of the composite label web. The label rolling cassette includes a label rolling core for rolling up thereon the composite label web printed, a label delaminating turning pin for turning back only the backing paper web to delaminate the labels therefrom, and a guide groove for guiding the turned back backing paper web. There is a label applier to which the label rolling cassette is removably attached. The label applier includes a feed roller that is manually operated for feeding the turned back backing paper web to delaminate the labels, and includes a label applying element for applying the delaminated labels to the articles. A printer prints the labels and sends them to the label rolling core which is on the removably attachable cassette.

摘要： The invention concerns a label printing and applying apparatus. A separate label printer and label applier are provided. A label holder, separably attachable to the printer and to the applier, receives a web of labels after they are printed while the label holder is attached to the printer. The label holder is separated from the printer and is attached to the applier and then the holder delivers labels to the applier for being applied. When a roll of labels has been wound upon the label holder, a cutting knife cuts the label web, thereafter permitting separation of the label holder from the label printer. Printing of the labels is done on a rotary platen on the label printer. A drive transmission connects the rotary platen with the label winding roll for rotating the roll when the label holder is on the label printer. Instructions to the printer for printing particular indicia are inputted. A memory circuit on the label holder stores the inputted instructions for each label. When the label holder is attached to the label applier, a sensor on the label applier counts the labels being dispensed and indicates from the memory circuit the indicia that had been printed on the label then being applied by the label applier.
