The process of solvent extraction of copper which treats an aqueous chloride solution containing copper and one or more concomitant elements to separate/recover copper, comprising the first step for selective extraction of copper from the aqueous chloride solution by mixing the solution with an extractant of organic solvent composed of tributyl phosphate as the major component after adjusting the solution at an oxidation-reduction potential of 0 to 350 mV (based on an Ag/AgCl electrode), and the second step for stripping of copper by mixing the extractant in which copper is stripped with an aqueous solution.

摘要： A rotation angle detecting device includes a magnet, a magnetic flux concentrator, a first magnetic sensor, and a second magnetic sensor. The magnet is provided in a rotary member and is substantially coaxially aligned with a rotational axis thereof. The magnet has a magnetic flux generation section and a magnetic flux absorption section oriented in radial directions vertical to the rotational axis. The magnetic flux concentrator is made of a magnetic material and rotates integrally with the magnet. The magnetic flux concentrator is substantially coaxially aligned with the rotational axis and disposed substantially parallel to the magnet. The first and second magnetic sensors are disposed between the magnet and the magnetic flux concentrator at a predetermined angle away from each other in a rotational direction. The rotation angle detecting device detects the rotation angle of the rotary member based on magnetic flux passing through the first and second magnetic sensors.

摘要： A pair of magnetic flux collecting rings and a magnetic sensor are integrally covered by a molded resin to form a sub unit of a torque sensor. The pair of rings and sensors are integrated and are in contact with each other, i.e., the magnetic sensor is held in between respective magnetic flux collecting portions of the rings without any air gap formed therebetween. Magnetic flux collected by the rings can be detected by the magnetic sensor to a maximum degree, whereby the signal output of the magnetic sensor is enhanced and made stable.

摘要： A displacement sensor precisely detects displacement of a moving body in a rectilinear movement direction even if the moving body rotates. The sensor includes a detector and a magnet. The cross sectional area of the permanent magnet in a plane perpendicular to an axis, which extends in the rectilinear movement direction, varies in the direction of movement. The permanent magnet is magnetized in the rectilinear movement direction. The detector is located so that magnetic flux passes through a detection face of the detector substantially perpendicularly.

摘要： A braking force control system of an electric vehicle includes a regenerative-controllable motor for driving driven wheels, wheel cylinders for braking non-driven wheels, respectively, and a master cylinder connected to a brake pedal for producing a master cylinder pressure in proportion to a depression amount of the brake pedal. A mechanical braking force control unit is further provided in a working fluid passage from the master cylinder and the wheel cylinders. The mechanical braking force control unit includes a proportioning valve and a free-piston cylinder arranged in parallel with each other in the working fluid passage. The proportioning valve is operated to output a wheel cylinder pressure to the wheel cylinders when the depression amount of the brake pedal is no more than a given value. On the other hand, the free-piston cylinder is operated to output a wheel cylinder pressure to the wheel cylinders when the depression amount of the brake pedal is more than the given value. A motor control unit is further provided to perform a regenerative control of the motor for achieving a regenerative braking force which is equal to a difference between a target total braking force derived based on the depression amount of the brake pedal and a mechanical braking force derived based on the wheel cylinder pressure outputted from the mechanical braking force control unit.

摘要： A brake apparatus for use in a motor vehicle having at least one front wheel and at least one rear wheel. The brake apparatus includes a diagonal braking pressure supply system provided between a master cylinder and wheel braking cylinders for applying braking forces to the front and rear wheels. A proportioning valve is provided in the braking pressure supply system for controlling the braking pressure to be applied to the rear-wheel braking cylinder in accordance with a control signal so as to vary the ratio of the braking pressure to the rear-wheel braking cylinder with respect to the braking pressure to be applied to the front-wheel braking cylinder. Also included is an electronic control unit which produces the control signal to the proportioning valve. The electronic control unit obtains a command value on the basis of a parameter corresponding to the difference between the lock states of the front and rear wheels which are in turn obtained on the basis of signals indicative of speeds of the front and rear wheels. The control signal is determined in accordance with the command value and supplied to the proportioning valve.
