    摘要: The present invention is a distributed piston elastomeric accumulator which stores energy when its elastomeric member stretches from its original length in response to the flow of a pressurized fluid. The stored energy is returned when the fluid flow is reversed and the accumulator discharges the fluid as its elastomeric member returns to its original length and moves the piston to its initial position. At least one part of the novelty of the invention is that the accumulator is not subject to radial strain gradients and the accumulator allows for precise pressure and linear position measurements. Accordingly, the invention allows for optimization of the energy strain storage capacity of a given elastomer.

    摘要: A hydraulic vehicle braking system comprises a master cylinder having at least one piston displacably accommodated therein, a mechanical actuator that is coupled, or can be coupled, to a brake pedal for actuating the piston, and an electromechanical actuator. The electromechanical actuator is likewise provided for actuating the piston and can be activated, at least for boosting or generating brake force, when the brake pedal is actuated. Furthermore, a valve arrangement is provided, which has a first valve per wheel brake for selectively uncoupling the wheel brake from the master cylinder, and a second valve for selectively reducing the brake pressure at the wheel brake. The valve arrangement can be controlled at least within the framework of an ABS control mode.

    摘要: A microvalve device for controlling fluid flow in a fluid circuit. The microvalve device comprises a body having a cavity formed therein. The body further has first and second pilot ports placed in fluid communication with the cavity. The body also has first and second primary ports placed in fluid communication with the cavity. Each port is adapted for connection with a designated fluid source. A pilot valve supported by the body is movably disposed in the cavity for opening and closing the first and second pilot ports. The microvalve is a slider valve having a first end and a second end. The slider valve is movably disposed in the cavity for movement between a first position and a second position. The second end of the slider valve is in constant fluid communication with the first primary port. When moving between the first and second positions, the slider valve at least partially blocks and unblocks the second primary port for the purpose of variably restricting fluid flow between the primary ports.

According to the present invention, only the wheel brakes associated with the driven wheels are furnished with outlet valves apart from the prevailing electromagnetically operated inlet valves. A separating valve is additionally inserted into the brake line, and a self-priming return pump is used which additionally has a suction line to the brake line between the master cylinder and the separating valve. Preferably, the suction line is adapted to be closed by a hydraulic valve. The separating valve may also be replaced by a hydraulically operated valve version. The resulting advantage is that at most four additional solenoid valves are required for the entire brake system in order to realize traction slip control.
