    Abstract: A repeater is provided. The repeater includes: a hybrid butler matrix configured to perform beamforming of a MIMO antenna for transmitting and receiving a base station signal; a hybrid butler matrix configured to perform beamforming of a MIMO antenna for transmitting and receiving a user terminal signal; and a signal processor configured to amplify a signal to be transmitted and received through the hybrid butler matrix. Accordingly, it is easy to manufacture a repeater, heat emission and power consumption can be reduced, and a cost of production can be reduced.

    Abstract: Provided is a deep learning-based panoptic segmentation accelerated processing technique using a complexity-based RPN skip method. An image segmentation system includes: a first processing unit configured to extract dynamic objects in an instance segmentation method by using an extracted feature; a calculation unit configured to control to skip some areas of the feature extracted at the network by the first processing unit, on the basis of complexity of the input image; a second processing unit configured to extract static objects in a semantic segmentation method by using the feature extracted at the network; and a fusion unit configured to fuse a result of extracting by the first processing unit and a result of extracting by the second processing unit. Accordingly, the panoptic segmentation method can be easily performed even in an embedded environment by reducing complexity for panoptic segmentation processing by reducing a calculation burden.

    Abstract: A wireless transmission scheduling method is proposed. The method may be a synchronous media access control (MAC) wireless transmission scheduling method optimized for a user datagram protocol (UDP) of a personal wireless network-based data transmission system. The method may include setting a superframe period, a beacon period, and a contention period by a master station in a network. The method may also include calculating transmission periods of one or more slave stations participating in the network and a transmission period of the master station. The method may further include transmitting information about the calculated transmission periods of the one or more slave stations to the one or more slave stations participating in the network. The method may further include transmitting data by the one or more slave stations and the master station in the transmission periods assigned to the one or more slave stations and the master station.

    Abstract: An apparatus for measuring the internal resistance of battery cells in a variable number unit in an online state is proposed. The apparatus may include a switch array, a variable resistor, a high-speed switch, a measurement sensor, and a controller. The switch array configures a measurement target battery cell by selecting at least one battery cell from among a plurality of battery cells included in a battery module. The variable resistor is connected to the measurement target battery cell via the switch array. The high-speed switch switches a connection between the measurement target battery cell and the variable resistor. The measurement sensor detects a measurement voltage of the measurement target battery cell and a measurement current of the measurement target battery cell in an online state of the battery module. The controller derives an internal resistance of the measurement target battery cell through the measurement voltage and the measurement current.

    Abstract: There is provided a method for scheduling offloading snippets based on a large amount of DBMS task computation. A DB scheduling method according to an embodiment of the disclosure includes determining, by a DBMS, whether to offload a part of query computations upon receiving a query execution request from a client, generating, by the DBMS, an offloading code which is a code for offloading a part of the query computations, based on the received query, when offloading is determined, selecting one of the plurality of storages in which a DB is established, and delivering the offloading code. Accordingly, snippets which will be generated simultaneously are scheduled for CSDs, so that resources are equally utilized, a query execution time is reduced, and reliability on data processing is enhanced.
