Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for guiding flat materials along a transport path within a higher-level device for handling flat materials, whereby the device for guiding flat materials has at least one upper guiding surface that is arranged above the transport path and at least one lower guiding surface that is arranged below the transport path and two side walls between which the at least one lower and upper guiding surfaces are rigidly fastened, whereby mounting elements are provided on the side walls, whereby the device can be installed in the higher-level device for handling flat materials by means of these mounting elements.
Abstract:
Roll winding device, in particular for a reel cutter, with at least one support device, comprising at least one carrying roll disposed with its axis in the lateral direction in a machine frame, which has a column device disposed on each of the two axial ends of the carrying roll, the columns being connected to each other in the lateral direction by means of at least one cross bar. At least one cross bar is embodied as a sealing box which is disposed underneath a winding bed and has a high mechanical stability so that it considerably increases the rigidity of the frame.
Abstract:
A device for winding sheet material such as newspaper into a coil to form a combustible fireplace log comprising a base on which there is mounted a spindle for rotation parallel to the base and movement perpendicular thereto, springs opposing perpendicular movement of the spindle relative to the base, and a crank for effecting rotation of the spindle.
Abstract:
A main body frame of a multifunction machine has first and second frames of which surfaces parallel to a Z-axis face each other. A recording head is disposed between the first and the second frames and fixed to the main body frame. An ejection tray is fixed to the main body frame on a +Z direction with respect to the recording head. A scanner is fixed to the main body frame on the +Z direction with respect to the ejection tray and forms an ejection space with the ejection tray. The recording head performs recording on a medium which is being transported toward a first direction, which is an in-plane direction of the first frame. The ejection tray is configured to be removed toward a second direction, which is the in-plane direction of the first frame, in a state where the scanner is fixed to the main body frame.
Abstract:
A conveying apparatus, including: a main body unit including a conveyor mechanism, a first tray to receive a medium conveyed through a first conveyance path, and a switcher to switch a destination of the medium; an intermediate unit removably mountable on the upper surface of the main body unit and including a first introduction opening formed in its lower surface and at least one conveyance roller for conveying the medium through a second conveyance path and discharging the medium from a second discharge opening formed in its upper surface; and a tray unit removably mountable on the upper surface of the intermediate unit and including a second introduction opening formed in its lower surface and at least one second tray to receive the medium conveyed through a third conveyance path, the intermediate unit having a length in a height direction smaller than that of the tray unit in the direction.
Abstract:
A system of mitigating force in a mechanical system, the system comprising a frame member, a first rail connected to the frame member, a second rail connected to the frame member and extending along the frame member in parallel to the first rail, an assembly movably engaging the first and second rails, and a first bracket located between the first and second rails, with at least one first bracket attachment secured to the frame member, the first bracket sharing an upper edge with a lower edge of the first rail, such that a downward force applied on the first rail is distributed to the first bracket and the frame member via the at least one first bracket attachment.
Abstract:
An image recording apparatus includes a printing device, an image reading device, two hinge members, and a feed tray. The printing device includes a printing unit configured to record an image on a sheet. The image reading device is disposed above the printing device and includes a scanner configured to read an image recorded on a sheet. The two hinge members are configured to connect the image reading device and the printing device such that the image reading device is pivotable with respect to the printing device. The feed tray, on which a sheet is to be placed, is disposed between the two hinge members. The printing device includes a feeder configured to feed the sheet placed on the feed tray into the printing unit.
Abstract:
The image forming apparatus configured such that a primarily-transferred toner image is secondarily transferred onto a recording material at a secondary transfer portion formed between a transfer belt and a secondary transfer roller, includes a belt unit configured to support the transfer belt in a rotatable manner; and a sheet feeding unit configured to feed the recording material toward the secondary transfer portion. Both the belt unit and the sheet feeding unit are positioned and fixed on the same main stay, so that higher printing accuracy is achieved in consideration of a mutual positional relationship between the sheet feeding portion and the image forming portion.
