The linkage is defined by a continuous wire that is shaped into a first engagement section that is separated from a second engagement section by a center section. The first engagement section is define by a loop that extends from the center section while the second engagement section is defined by a hook with an end that is spaced apart from the center section a distance that is greater than a radius of the hook such that a resilient force is required to move the end in a plane away from the center section and thereafter receive a loop on the brake cable through which an actuation force is transmitted to move a lever and effect a brake application.

摘要: The invention relates to a disk brake, particularly for commercial vehicles, comprising a brake caliper (1) covering a brake disk (3), a tensing device (13) arranged in a brake caliper for tensing the brake pads (5, 7) on both sides of the brake disk (3) in the direction thereof, and at least one regulating system arranged in the brake caliper in order to equalise the brake pad and/or disk deterioration by adjusting the distance between the brake pad (7) and the brake disk (3). The invention is characterised in that at least one or more adjusting rotational devices which are driven by an electric motor are provided on each side of the brake disk (3) to adjust the axial distances between the brake pads (5, 7) and the brake disk (3). According to a method for controlling the regulating system of the brake disk, the regulating rotational device is individually controlled on both sides of the brake disk.

摘要: A remote brake release for elevator drive machine brakes includes a release lever attached to a shaft coupled by a clutch to a bellcrank. The clutch is normally engaged and can be a spring clutch or a friction type disc clutch. Movement of the lever to rotate the shaft moves the bellcrank which is coupled to a brake release mechanism. A solenoid is actuated to disengage the clutch preventing release of the brake. The solenoid can be connected to a control circuit responsive to a speed of rotation of the drive machine motor.

摘要: The braking mechanism comprises a toggle lever, a brake pad, and an incline. An incline actuates the braking mechanism by forcing an extension of the toggle lever. As the toggle lever extends, it pushes the brake pad closer to the surface to be slowed. Multiple toggle levers may be used to distribute the force across the brake pad. This configuration allows a single input from the incline to actuate both toggle levers. By adjusting the width of the incline actuating the toggle lever, the force on the brake pad may be adjusted.

摘要: The brake actuator assembly of this invention significantly reduces accumulation of road debris, reduces the weight of the push rod and yoke assembly and friction between the mating parts. The brake actuator includes a housing defining a chamber having an opening through the end wall, a push rod and yoke assembly reciprocally mounted within the housing chamber and a shield located within the housing closely receiving the exterior surface of the push rod and yoke assembly which has a smooth substantially continuous external surface. In the preferred embodiment, the yoke is secured to the push rod within the housing chamber, surrounding the push rod having an elliptical exterior surface which sheds accumulation of road debris.

摘要: The disk-brake comprises a clevis (5), a sliding caliper (3) and an operating mechanism, the latter comprising a mechanism (19) having a wedge displaceable longitudinally between the caliper (3) and a piston, to move them apart, through the action of a pusher (21), which in turn is driven by the pushrod (25) of a drive mechanism (23). The drive mechanism (23) is fastened to the clevis (5) of the brake and the pusher (21) exerts on the wedge a force whose main component is parallel to the plane of the disk and directed in the predominant direction of rotation of the latter.

摘要: A cable-pull actuation system for a parking brake may have a body which houses an electric motor device. A rod, adapted to operate along an actuation direction, at a first end thereof, an actuation member of a drum brake and/or of a parking brake. A transmission device may operatively connect the electric motor device to a second end of the rod which is translationally integral with a screw. The screw may be engaged with a nut screw rotationally actuated by the transmission device. A pre-loading device may act in contrast on the screw. The pre-loading device may be compressively pre-loaded to exert a pre-load traction on the rod to offset variations of load on the rod. The pre-loading device may be configured to exert a thrust action on the rod following the annulment of axial clearances for an incremental compression of the pre-loading device with respect to the pre-load value.
