    摘要: A water heating system including a tank, a first heating element, a second heating element, a first temperature sensor, a second temperature sensor, a controller having an electronic processor and a memory. The controller is configured to determine an output temperature setpoint, determine whether a period of expected high water demand is approaching, and in response to determining that the period of expected high water demand is approaching, activate the second heating element. The controller is further configured to deactivate the second heating element when a second temperature sensed by the second temperature sensor crosses a second temperature threshold, activate the first heating element when the second temperature crosses the second temperature threshold, and deactivate the first heating element. Wherein the first temperature threshold is lower than the second temperature threshold and the first and second temperature thresholds are higher than the output temperature setpoint.

    摘要: A duty cycle is used in conjunction with a powered oscillator to electronically reduce the current draw by reducing the average current and thus reducing the sensor radiated emissions without altering an inductive position sensor. The duty cycle and the switching of the oscillation drive enable an on and an off cycling of the inductive position sensor such that an oversampling may occur without altering the hardware, but providing the improvements. As such, the inductive position sensor may only have an oscillation signal long enough to capture a stable sample and remain off for the duration of the sampling period. As such, a reduction in radiated emissions is achieved.

    摘要: A method for shielding an inductive sensor includes arranging an annular shielding coil outside an annular detection coil, the shielding coil surrounds the detection coil, and the radial thickness of the shielding coil is smaller than that of the detection coil. An inductive sensor adopting the above method for shielding the inductive sensor, in which the shielding coil is arranged outside the detection coil of the inductive sensor, magnetic fields generated by the two coils are opposite in direction and partially cancel out each other. When interference exists, the magnetic fields generated by the two coils are influenced at the same time and are attenuated or increased by identical strength. Therefore, the summed magnetic field strength can be kept constant, resonance voltages cannot be attenuated, the interference rejection of the inductive sensor is improved, and the sensitivity of the inductive sensor is not influenced.

    摘要: A sensor arrangement has a current regulator, a reference resistance a feed current scaler and a sensor element having an internal resistance, the internal resistance of the sensor element and the reference resistance having a predetermined ratio. The current regulator is implemented to provide a reference current by the reference resistance and to change the reference current in response to an interference influence-conditioned change of the reference resistance such that the voltage decreasing across the reference resistance remains in a predetermined range around an applied set voltage. The current regulator is implemented to provide a feed current to the feed current scaler and to change a magnitude of the feed current depending on a magnitude of the reference current. The feed current scaler is implemented to feed a scaled feed current into the sensor element to scale a voltage according to the scaling of the feed current.

The seismic sensor includes a casing; a magnet located inside the casing; a coil assembly located inside the casing, wherein the coil assembly moves relative to the magnet; and a temperature-sensitive device connected to terminals of the coil assembly and configured to improve the damping. The magnet and the coil assembly produce some intrinsic damping and the additional damping introduced by the temperature-sensitive device is selected to counterbalance the temperature-dependent intrinsic damping so that a phase of a recorded seismic signal is compensated for temperature induced magnetic field changes.
