Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a device for target identification, electric device, a storage medium, and a neuromodulation apparatus. The method for target identification includes: acquiring scanning data of a subject, wherein the scanning data include data acquired from magnetic resonance imaging of a brain of the subject; determining, based on the scanning data, at least two brain regions of the subject, each brain region including at least one voxel; determining, based on a disease type of the subject, at least one target brain region corresponding to the type of the disease in the at least two brain regions; and determining, based on a preset target identification rule, the at least one target located in the target brain region.

Abstract: A method and system to generate a probabilistic prediction of the presence/absence of cancer in longitudinal and current image datasets, and/or multimodal image datasets, and the location of the cancer, is described. The method and system uses an ensemble of deep learning models. The ensemble includes a global model in the form of a 3D convolutional neural network (CNN) extracting features in the datasets indicative of the presence of cancer on a global basis. The ensemble also includes a two-stage prediction model which includes a first stage or detection model which identifies cancer detection candidates (different cropped volumes of 3D data in the a dataset containing candidates which may be cancer) and a second stage or probability model which incorporates the longitudinal datasets (or multimodal images in a multimodal dataset) and the extracted features from the global model and assigns a cancer probability p to each of the cancer detection candidates. An overall prediction of probability of cancer is obtained from the probabilities assigned by the second stage model, e.g., using a Noisy-OR approach.

Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods that provide for automated analysis of three-dimensional (3D) medical images of a subject in order to automatically identify specific 3D volumes within the 3D images that correspond to specific anatomical regions (e.g., organs and/or tissue). Notably, the image analysis approaches described herein are not limited to a single particular organ or portion of the body. Instead, they are robust and widely applicable, providing for consistent, efficient, and accurate detection of anatomical regions, including soft tissue organs, in the entire body. In certain embodiments, the accurate identification of one or more such volumes is used to automatically determine quantitative metrics that represent uptake of radiopharmaceuticals in particular organs and/or tissue regions. These uptake metrics can be used to assess disease state in a subject, determine a prognosis for a subject, and/or determine efficacy of a treatment modality.

Abstract: A surgical action to be performed during a surgical procedure is predicted using machine learning based on images and surgical instrumentation data. An image/video capture device such as an endoscope, a wearable camera, a stationary camera, etc., can be used to capture the image(s). A surgeon can be provided an augmented visualization of the surgical procedure by displaying one or more graphical overlays based on the findings of the machine learning to enhance the surgeon's information.
