The processor further performs the steps of crediting an account of a user for each deposit, processing withdrawals at the currency recycler, and debiting the account of the user for each withdrawal. Still further the processor performs the steps of reconciling all transactions at the currency recycler at an end of day and allowing a user to modify the end of day based on business needs.

In one embodiment, multiple currency recyclers could be used at multiple stores of a retail establishment and collectively work from one pending balance. Embodiments are also contemplated in which multiple accounts at one recycler location. In some cases, the currency recycler provides provisional credit for deposits of coinage and checks. In some cases, transactions made on the currency recycler could be settled to any financial institution.

    摘要： There is provided a banknote counter 17 capable of speedily and accurately checking banknotes exchanged for chips and automatically acquiring and managing accurate transaction information. Banknotes received in the banknote counter 17 are recognized one by one by a recognition unit, and thus can be checked speedily and accurately compared with manually checking banknotes. Banknotes can be additionally received until one transaction is confirmed by a confirmation unit, and one transaction can be confirmed by the confirmation unit. Information on a confirmed transaction is displayed on an external display unit 18. Accurate information on a confirmed transaction is transmitted from the banknote counter 17 to a higher-ranking machine and can be automatically acquired and managed by the higher-ranking machine.

The housing also includes a transaction device interface that is structured to couple to a first cassette port and, responsive to the transfer cassette interface receiving the cassette, operably couple the cassette to a transaction device transport apparatus. The transaction device transport apparatus is structured to facilitate transporting banknotes to and from the cassette and a first storage cassette.
