Abstract:
A lock system for a tool box is disclosed wherein locking is achieved with a lock which is located in a recessed portion along the front wall of the tool box in order to prevent tampering. A latch rod is slidably disposed adjacent a front wall of the box. The lock and the latch rod are disposed such that the lock body blocks the longitudinal movement of a lock engager and maintains the latch rod in the latched position when the lid of the tool box is in the closed position and the lock is locked. When the lock is unlocked, the lock engager is allowed to move past the lock to move the latch rod to the unlatched position thereby allowing the lid of the tool box to be opened. The lock system may be used for a horizontal or a vertical tool box.
Abstract:
In a print system which processes a print job on the basis of a print instruction in which request items in print processes for obtaining a printed matter are described in a predetermined description format, a print management device manages print processings for the printed matter. The print management device includes a detection unit that detects a connection state of a processing device for executing a predetermined process among the request items included in the print instructions, and a selection unit that selects a print instruction of a description format corresponding to the connected processing device to output the print instruction to the processing device.
Abstract:
A combination book and storage device comprising a container with at least one cover which contains locking mechanism which is simple to operate and manufacture and a book which is mounted so that when the cover of the storage device is locked the book is still accessible.
Abstract:
A parcel receptacle having a housing and a door member coupled to the housing, the door member structured to move between an open position and a closed position, and a lock assembly. The lock assembly includes a cam lock, a lock set assembly and a lock catch assembly. The cam lock having a latch member structured to move between a locked position and an unlocked position. The lock set assembly having a first position and a second position. The lock catch assembly having a catch member. The cam lock is coupled to the parcel receptacle door. The lock set is coupled to the parcel receptacle door adjacent to the cam lock. The catch member coupled to the housing so that the catch member is positioned to engage either the cam lock latch member or the lock set assembly when the door member is moved into the closed position. When the lock set assembly is in the first position and the door member is moved into the closed position the lock set assembly engages the catch member, and when the lock set assembly is in the second position and the door is moved into the closed position the cam lock latch member engages the catch member.
Abstract:
A combination lock mechanism for locker doors and similar movable closures having a manually operable latching mechanism for the door, wherein the lock includes plural combination dial wheels spaced along a common axis and hubs which may be coupled with the dial wheels at different combination positions. A movable fence is normally restrained by the hubs in locking position to hold a locking bar against vertical movement and is released by gates in the hubs to permit the locking bar to be moved vertically to unlocking position when the correct combination is dialed. The locking bar is arranged to permit opening movement of the latching mechanism only when the fence is released upon dialing of the proper combination, or upon operation of a master key by a custodian which overrides the combination locking mechanism.
