摘要: A stylus comprises a housing, a stylus body, a latching element and a shell. The housing has a receptacle defined therethrough. The stylus body is accommodated in the receptacle and located at one end of the housing. The stylus body has two opposite arms located at one end thereof, each arm has a protrusion protruding therefrom. The latching element is mounted in the receptacle and is located at another end of the housing opposite to the stylus body. The latching element has two opposite latching cantilever and each cantilever having a rib protruding therefrom. The shell is slidably accommodated in the receptacle and has two opposite latching slots defined therein. The latching slots latch with the protrusions to hold the stylus in a retracted state, and the latching slots latch with the ribs to hold the stylus in an extended state.

摘要: A system, method and computer readable medium for capturing check data during a print process is disclosed. The method on a computer system includes observing a print command issued by an application to send check information to a printer. Next, a spool file in a condensed format, such as Extended Metafile Format (EMF), is written to a disk in response to the print command. This spool file read, and subsequently an output file is generated based on information in the spool file. The output file is written in EMF format if the output file contains image information. If the output file does not contain image information, the output file is written in text format. Then, the output file is modified to conform to a template. Lastly, the output file that was modified is sent to an output destination, such as a file storage space, a bank or a printer.

摘要: The present invention provides a print control technique for printing a plurality of documents more flexibly. A document list obtaining unit in an MFP (Multi Function Peripheral) obtains a document list DL of a plurality of documents to be printed. The document list DL is described by, for example, the XML (extensible Markup Language) or the like. A style sheet obtaining unit obtains a style sheet ST corresponding to the document list DL from a style sheet storing unit or the like. A converting unit converts the document list DL to a printing list PL of a predetermined format by using the tag in the document list DL on the basis of the style sheet ST. On the basis of the printing list PL, a printing instruction unit uses the document data obtained by a document data obtaining unit and outputs a printing instruction to a printer unit. The printer unit continuously prints the plurality of documents onto sheets on the basis of the printing instruction.

摘要: Printing systems, softwares and methods permit an untrained user to characterize unknown printing media. A printing system includes a printing device that prints on a medium according to settings. The printing system also includes an interface, and a controller for controlling the settings responsive to inputs from the interface. The controller has an on line mode for printing while the settings are unchanging, and an off line mode for calibration of the settings. While in the off line mode, the controller is adapted to identify a plurality of calibration values for the setting. The controller is further adapted to control the printing device to iteratively set the setting of the printing device according to one of the first calibration values and then print a sample image. This may take place for all the calibration values. Having the sample images, the user selects the best one, and enters its a characteristic number. That number is interpreted to derive the preferred calibration value for the setting. The user may repeat the procedure for each of the various settings.

摘要: Raster operations (ROPs) are executed using a few core blocks which implement the logical operations (e.g., AND, OR, XOR) forming the basis for the raster operations. In an embodiment, the core blocks are generated only for the basic Boolean operations namely AND, OR and XOR for the corresponding operands (one or two of the source, paint and destination). Each logical operation is performed by using the appropriate core block.
