A conveyor mechanism disposed within a temperature-controlled compartment of a delivery vehicle can provide easy access to items within the compartment. In some embodiments, the conveyor mechanism can be operated by a control circuit to convey items within the compartment to position the items adjacent to the access door according to various inputs.

The system includes a first distribution vehicle that is configured to carry food products and at least one autonomous distribution vehicle.     摘要: An electric truck has a chassis, on which a driver's cab with a motor compartment containing an electric motor is disposed in the front of the electric truck, and in the rear a cargo body rests on the chassis. The cargo body substructure sits on vehicle longitudinal beams of the chassis. The cargo body bottom sealing the cargo body on the underside is spaced above the vehicle longitudinal beams to ensure clearance for a sufficient spring travel. A battery housing with at least one integrated battery is disposed in the intermediate space between the vehicle longitudinal beams and the body bottom, so that a larger installation space is available for the batteries and therefore a greater range for the electric truck. The battery is protected in this region and, moreover, the insulation of the battery housing simultaneously contributes to insulation of the cargo body disposed above the battery housing.

    摘要: There is provided a commercial refrigerator vehicle for the transport of refrigerated produce, the commercial refrigerator vehicle comprising a wheeled chassis, a cab, an internal combustion engine, a refrigerator compartment on the wheeled chassis, and a refrigerator system for controlling interior temperature of the refrigerator compartment. The refrigerator system includes a refrigerator unit, a dedicated rechargeable electrical energy storage device housed in the cab, a vehicle battery pack chargeable directly or indirectly via the internal combustion engine and a charger for the electrical energy storage device. The charger preferably includes a controller for monitoring an activation status of the internal combustion engine and electrically disconnects the vehicle battery pack from the dedicated rechargeable electrical energy storage device when the internal combustion engine is deactivated. There is further provided a method of charging the refrigerator system via the electrical energy storage device.

The energy harvesting system includes a transport refrigeration unit (TRU), a remote wireless element operably disposed to respond to a characteristic of the TRU and an energy harvesting circuit. The remote wireless element includes a battery and a response element powered by the battery. The energy harvesting circuit is coupled to the battery and configured to generate electricity from TRU movements. The electricity generated from the TRU movements is provided to at least one of the remote wireless element to power operations of the remote wireless element and the battery to charge the battery.
