摘要: The invention relates to a pre-impregnated fibre-reinforced composite material in laminar form, obtained impregnating a fibrous mass with a polymeric binder composition and intended to be subjected to successive forming and pyrolysis operations to produce a fibre-reinforced composite ceramic material. The polymeric binder composition is based on one or more resins chosen from the group consisting of siloxane resins and silsesquioxane resins, and can optionally comprise one or more organic resins. The polymeric binder composition is a liquid with viscosity between 55000 and 10000 mPas at temperatures between 50° C. and 70° C. The polymeric binder composition forms a polymeric binding matrix, not cross-linked or only partially cross-linked that fills the interstices of the fibrous mass. The invention also relates to a method for making said pre-impregnated fibre-reinforced composite material in laminar form. The invention further relates to a fibre-reinforced composite ceramic material, obtained by forming and subsequent pyrolysis of a pre-impregnated fibre-reinforced composite material, as well as a method for making said material.

摘要: Fiber tows including a heat-activatable sizing are described. The sizing compositions have a first modulus at 25° C. of at least 150 megapascals (MPa) and no greater than 400 MPa; and a second modulus of 100,000 pascals (Pa) at a temperature of no greater than 160° C. Methods of preparing articles from such sized fiber tows and the articles comprising such sized fiber tows, including unidirectional and bidirectional constructions are also described.

摘要: A method of producing a graphite-containing refractory within which carbon fiber bundles are placed, the graphite constituting 1% to 80% by mass, the method including a bundling step of bundling carbon fibers to form the carbon fiber bundles; a mixing step of mixing a refractory raw material with graphite to prepare a graphite-containing refractory raw material; a pressing step of pressing the graphite-containing refractory raw material in which the carbon fiber bundles are placed to prepare a formed product; and a drying step of drying the pressed product, wherein the bundling step includes bundling 1000 to 300000 of the carbon fibers with a fiber diameter of 1 to 45 μm/fiber to form carbon fiber bundles 100 mm or more in length.

摘要: Disclosed are an anti-corrosion and anti-coking ceramic coating with easy state identification for a coal-fired boiler and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic coating is formed by compounding a bottom coating layer and a surface coating layer, wherein the bottom coating layer is prepared from raw materials comprising sodium silicate, lanthanum oxide, niobium pentoxide, aluminum oxide, bismuth oxide, boron oxide, zinc oxide, silicon oxide, titanium dioxide, nano whisker, titanium nitride, and graphite fluoride, and the surface coating layer is prepared from raw materials comprising sodium silicate, lanthanum oxide, niobium pentoxide, chromium oxide, aluminum oxide, bismuth oxide, boron oxide, zinc oxide, silicon oxide, graphite fluoride, titanium nitride, silicon carbide, nano whisker, and cobalt green. An operating state of the ceramic coating is rapidly identified by a color difference between the bottom coating layer and the surface coating layer, which is beneficial to efficient maintenance of the ceramic coating during inspection.

摘要: A method of manufacturing ceramic matrix composites includes producing chemical vapor deposition functionalized ceramic particles before injecting the functionalized ceramic particles into the CMC fabric. The functionalized ceramic particles are mixed with a binder solution and then dispensed into voids present between adjacent tows of the CMC fabric. Injecting the particles in the center of the voids reduces the size and volume fraction of the voids/defects, improving the homogeneity of surface texture, homogeneity of microstructure, and part model shape conformity.

摘要: A method of preparing a woven fabric material for use in a ceramic matrix composite includes passing a desized woven fabric tape having a first inter-filament spacing through a dispersal module configured to transform the desized woven fabric tape into a dispersed woven fabric tape having a second inter-filament spacing greater than the first inter-filament spacing. The dispersal module includes a first charging element with a charged surface and disposed to apply an electric charge to the desized woven fabric tape. The method further includes applying a polymer binder to the dispersed woven fabric tape to create a stabilized woven fabric tape having the second inter-filament spacing.
