摘要: A method for manufacturing a carbon nanotube-blended aggregate of the present invention includes the steps of: (1) providing an aqueous solution of a water-soluble polymer having a concentration of 0.005 to 3.0% by mass; (2) impregnating carbon nanotubes with the aqueous solution of the water-soluble polymer in a proportion of 400 to 1,000 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the carbon nanotubes to prepare a wet aggregate; (3) shear-crushing the wet aggregate to obtain an aggregate of crushed products and (4) drying the aggregate of the crushed products to obtain a carbon nanotube-blended aggregate containing the water-soluble polymer.

The fiber-reinforced composite material enables a fiber-reinforced composite material to be provided that achieves high productivity, and exhibits heat resistance and mechanical properties while using an epoxy resin composition that has low viscosity, a long pot life, and fast curability.

摘要: An amide acid oligomer (AAO) solution, methods of making the same, powder, AAO solution prepregs, AAO dry prepreg, imide prepregs, and fiber reinforced polyimide composites with high temperature resistance and excellent mechanical properties are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a method of making an AAO solution includes dissolving an aromatic diamine and an aromatic tetracarboxylic compound in a solvent to form a mixture, wherein the solvent has a boiling point of less than 150° C.; stirring the mixture at a temperature ranging from about 5° C. to about 60° C. for about I hour to about 24 hours to form a reaction solution; adding unsaturated acid anhydride to the reaction solution; and stirring the reaction solution at a temperature ranging from about 5° C. to about 60° C. for about 1 minute to about 180 minutes to form an amide acid oligomer solution, the amide acid oligomer solution having amide acid oligomer in the solvent.

There is provided a composite material including: carbon fibers; and a structure which includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes and has a network structure in which the carbon nanotubes are in direct contact with each other, and in which the carbon nanotubes adhered to surfaces of the carbon fibers directly adhere to the surfaces of the carbon fibers. The carbon nanotubes have a bent shape having a bent portion.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a quadrangular shell having five faces and non-developable trihedral connectors between the faces. Plies having continuous fibers are cut to cover the five faces of the shell outside of the trihedral connector zones. Four connector components consolidated in the shape of the trihedral connectors are obtained. Each of the components includes an integration zone between the plies. Plies are positioned and laid up. The four consolidated components are inserted in the trihedral connection zones by inserting the integration zones between two plies to form an assembly obtain a preform. The preform is placed in a tool and the consolidation of the stack of fibrous plies is performed by subjecting the assembly to a predetermined pressure/temperature cycle.

摘要: The purposes of the present invention are: to provide an epoxy resin composition having excellent impregnation into reinforcing fibers, excellent shapability under low-temperature conditions after thickening, and excellent heat resistance after curing; to provide a molding material for a fiber-reinforced composite material, said molding material having excellent shapability during handling and excellent fluidity during press molding; and to provide a fiber-reinforced composite material having excellent heat resistance and bending strength. To achieve the abovementioned purposes, the present invention provides an epoxy resin composition containing all of the following components (A)-(D), wherein: the content of the component (A), in terms of 100 mass % of the total mass of the epoxy resin composition, is 30-95 mass %; and the ratio Wc/Wd of the content We of the component (C) to the content Wd of the component (D) is 0.01-10. Component (A) is an epoxy resin; component (B) is a curing agent; component (C) is a diisocyanate compound having consecutive double bonds, an alicyclic structure or a heterocyclic structure; and component (D) is a polyisocyanate compound excluding the component (C).
