    摘要： Cyan azo dye-providing compounds have the formula: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is selected from the group consisting of aryl, alkyl or NR.sup.11 R.sup.12 wherein R.sup.11 is alkyl or aryl and R.sup.12 is alkyl, or R.sup.11 and R.sup.12, taken together with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached, is a heterocyclic group;X is --CO-- or --SO.sub.2 --;R.sup.3 is --COOH or --CAR and is attached in the meta or para position to X in the benzene ring;R is alkyl; ##STR2## or can be taken together with R and the nitrogen atom to which it is attached to form a heterocyclic ring unsubstituted or substituted with a carboxy group; andCAR is a carrier moiety which, as a function of oxidation under alkaline conditions, releases a diffusible dye, with the proviso that the compound contains at least one CAR group and, excepting when R and R.sup.2 form a heterocyclic group and X is --SO.sub.2 --, must contain at least one carboxy group. The compounds are particularly useful in photographic elements and more particularly useful in image transfer film units.

    摘要： An azo dye for use in color filters soluble in alkaline aqueous solutions and organic solvents and having in one molecule at least one sulfonamido group of which one hydrogen atom is substituted; and a method for producing a color filter having a plurality of color filter elements which comprises the steps of a) coating a substrate with an organic solvent solution of a photoresist composition containing said azo dye and drying the coat to form an adhering layer, b) exposing a specific part of said layer to radiation ray, c) developing the exposed or unexposed region with alkali to form a colored pattern, and d) repeating the steps a)-c) on every dye of different color present in said composition.

    摘要： A silver halide color light-sensitive material comprising a support having thereon at least a silver halide and an infrared-absorbing image-forming compound represented by formula (I):(Dye --X).sub.q --Y (I)wherein Dye represents an infrared-absorbing dye group or an infrared-absorbing dye precursor group derived from a compound represented by formula (II)A, (II)B or (II)C; X represents a chemical bond or a connecting group; Y represents a group capable of making a difference in the diffusibility of the dye component of said compound represented by formula (I) between before and after the reaction with the silver halide having a latent image in correspondence or counter correspondence to the silver halide; having a latent image and q represents an integer 1 or 2, and when q is 2, the two (Dye-X) groups may be the same or different: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1A and R.sup.2A may be the same or different and each represents a substituent as defined in the specification; and Ar represents an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, which substituents may be further substituted by other substituents; ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1B has the same meaning as R.sup.1A ; R.sup.2B represents a substituent selected from the group consisting of an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, an alkoxy group and an amino group; and R.sup.3B represents a substituent as defined in the specification; ##STR3## wherein R.sup.1C and R.sup.2C may be the same or different and each has the same meaning as R.sup.1A ; and m and n each represents an integer of from 0 to 4, with the proviso that if m and n each is 2 to 4, the plurality of substituents may be the same or different, these substituents may be further substituted by other substituents;Dye and X may be bonded to each other in any position in formulas (II)A, (II)B and (II)C.
