    摘要: The present invention recites a method comprising reacting in a solvent in the presence of a base a) at least one diacidic monomer comprising about 1 to 100 mole % of at least one light-absorbing monomer having a light absorption maximum between about 300 nm and about 1200 nm and 99-0 mole % of a non-light absorbing monomer which does not absorb significant light at wavelengths above 300 nm or has a light absorption maximum below 300 nm, with b) an organic compound of Formula II X—B—X1  wherein B is a divalent organic radical to form a light absorbing composition comprising a mixture of a polymer having the formula  and a cyclic compound having the general formula  wherein B is as defined above; n is at least 2, m is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and A comprises the residue of a diacidic monomer comprising about 1 to 100 mole % of at least one light-absorbing monomer having a light absorption maximum between about 300 nm and about 1000 nm and wherein the remaining portion of A comprises the residue of a non-light absorbing monomer which does not absorb significant light at wavelengths above 300 nm or has a light absorption maximum below 300 nm.

    摘要: Compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is hydrogen or an aliphatic or aromatic substituent conventional for diazo component radicals of disperse dyes and which is bound to a N-atom in the 1- or 2-position of the triazole nucleus through a carbon atom, with the proviso that when R.sub.1 is in the 1-position, the broken line represents double bonds in the 2,3- and 4,5-positions and when R.sub.1 is in the 2-position, the broken line represents double bonds in the 3,4- and 1,5-positions,R.sub.2 is an electron withdrawing or inductive group, andK is a coupling component radical of the aniline series,with the proviso that the molecule is free from cationic groups, sulphonic acid groups, metals and metallizable groups, which compounds are useful as disperse dyes for textile substrates consisting of or comprising synthetic or semi-synthetic, hydrophobic, high molecular weight organic materials such as linear aromatic polyesters, cellulose 21/2 acetate, cellulose triacetate and synthetic polyamides.

    摘要: A process for preparing a cyano-azo dyestuff which is insoluble in water and has the formula:(CN).sub.n -- A -- N .dbd. N -- B (I)starting with a halogen-azo compound of formula:(Hal).sub.n -- A -- N .dbd.
