摘要： A hinge for portable terminal that not only has both functions of allowing a second casing to open/close relative to a first casing and allowing the second casing to turn relative to the first casing in a direction right angle to the opening/closing direction, but also is capable of preventing external leakage of a lubricating oil and is formed to be as compact as possible. The hinge includes: a rotary hinge module; and an opening/closing hinge module wherein: the rotary hinge module has a fixed member attached to the first casing and a cylindrical rotary member attached to the fixed member with a turn thereof being controlled via a first cam mechanism; the opening/closing hinge module is provided in the cylindrical rotary member and has an opening/closing member which is rotatably mounted with a rotation thereof being controlled to be in a right angle direction to a direction of the turn of the rotary hinge module via a second cam mechanism and to which an end portion of the second casing is coupled; and the rotary hinge module operates from an instant when the opening/closing hinge module reaches a predetermined angle.

摘要： A dual-axes hinge part (106) defines a lower hinge (132) and an upper hinge (130) of an electronic device (100). The upper hinge (130) permits a component, such as a display member (102) to pivot with respect to the hinge part (106) in a portrait mode. The lower hinge (132) permits both the display member (102) and the hinge part (106) to pivot with respect to a base (104) in a landscape mode. The axes of the hinges (130, 132) cross one another and lie in different planes. The hinge part (106) conforms to the shapes of the housing of the display member (102) and the housing of the base (104) and has no parts that project substantially beyond the boundaries of the display member (102) and the base (104). Thus, the hinge part (106) provides dual-axes functionality while not detracting from the aesthetics of the electronic device (100).

摘要： A hinge for anchoring and folding on a small pintle which has a diameter between 3 and 7.9 mm to form a stepless swiveling and anchoring by increasing the friction resistant force to counter the torque. It includes a maneuvering structure which has a rotary member and an anchor member that form a rotational displacement on the contact surfaces therebetween that can be swiveled and anchored in a stepless manner and latched on a fixed location for closing. A braking structure is provided that has braking elements and washers to increase the friction resistant forces so that the small pintle has adequate friction resistant forces to anchor a display device after unfolding. The maneuvering structure has anchor elements and retaining troughs of different sizes that cannot be coupled with each other when the display device is unfolded and swiveled to 180 degrees to maintain the original friction resistant forces so that the display device may be anchored at any angle after unfolded.

An opening is radially defined at a top side of the first tubular part. The second hinge member has a second tubular part rotatably received in the opening. Two arms are respectively formed at two diametrically opposite sides of the second tubular part. A resilient member is received in the second tubular part. An upper disk under the resilient member has a ridge formed at a bottom surface thereof. A lower disk has a channel for positioning the ridge in the channel. A shaft extends through the first hinge member, the lower disk, the upper disk, the resilient member and the second tubular part and secured in the first hinge member and the lower disk.
