Abstract:
A glass partition includes a pair of frameless glass side parts attached to a floor and a ceiling, and a frameless glass element attached to the side parts and to the ceiling without the use of fittings, the glass element being attached to the side parts and the ceiling exclusively by a permanently elastic compound.
Abstract:
A glass display case being held together by clamping fittings and a clamping fitting for the corner connection of three adjoining wall structures, especially glass panes or the like. The clamping fitting presents a central coupling member, to which are associated three rotatable and lockable connecting axles, the center longitudinal axes of which respectively stretch out or extend radially with regard to the coupling member at an angle of approximately 120 degrees from one another. At their free end opposite to the coupling member, the connecting axles present a stiffening connector articulation for the connection to an adapter element.
Abstract:
An attachment device for a glass pane presenting voltaic cells, at a mounting fixed to a structure, whereby the glass pane is hold between two clamping elements. The invention concentrates on the fact that a coupling bell is supported with adjustable initial tension at the inside clamping element, while a permanently elastic spring member is placed between the coupling bell and the inside clamping element tolerating a relative motion of the coupling bell with regard to the clamping element. The invention concentrates furthermore on the execution of several spatial articulations and between the glass pane and the mounting fixed to a structure, as well as on the realization of the current conduction passing through the attachment device.
Abstract:
Separating wall made of glass with frameless side parts which are held at the base and at a top structure, at least one frameless transom which is held at the two side parts and at the top structure, and at least one leaf which is rotatably arranged below the transom and between the two side parts. The leaf is rotatably supported exclusively at the transom and at the base by means of fitting parts, and the transom and the side parts are fastened to one another and to the top structure and the base without the fittings.
Abstract:
A building glass facade having glass panes that are mounted to a mounting structure, such as a building. The glass panes are mounted using clamp fittings or clamping arrangements for fastening glass panes with two clamping elements that clamp the glass pane between them, whereby one clamping element is realized in the form of a conical nut or taper nut that is set into a boring of the glass pane and has a detachable cover. The invention teaches that a clip closure is integrated into the cover or is an integral part of the cover.
Abstract:
A fitting for an all-glass door with an upper bearing which substantially includes a fitting body with a glass receptacle and/or a clamping device for a glass leaf and with a bearing pin for engagement in a counterbearing at an overpanel or in a frame. The bearing pin is displaceable in a pocket hole. To provide a fitting that resists intrusion after the glass door is installed, the bearing pin of the fitting is secured in such a way that the glass leaf is prevented from being lifted out when the all-glass door is closed.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a fitting system according to parent application DE 101 19 987.3 for rotatably bearing a door leaf (2) in a glass construction. A fitting (1) is disposed on the top and/or at the bottom of said door leaf (2) and interacts with a complementary counter-fitting. A bearing axis extends in the plane of the door leaf and every fitting (1) is subdivided longitudinally by an intermediate space (3), while forming opposite bearing surfaces (7, 8), into at least partially spaced-apart fitting elements (4, 5) that can be disposed in a form-fit in a recess (9) of the door leaf (2). In order to stabilize the fitting system and to provide tamper-proof and protected fittings (1) that are also optically appealing, the fitting elements (4, 5) are fastened to the door leaf (2) by means of pins (16, 17) that are introduced at an angle to the longitudinal direction in through bores (14, 15) and in blind bores (12, 13) of the two fitting elements (4,5), while reducing the intermediate space (3). A rod stud (27) fastened to the one fitting elements (5) accommodates the two insertable pins (16, 17) while capping them, said rod stud (27) extending in parallel to the plane of the door leaf.
Abstract:
A fitting for rotatably supporting a closing element for closing an opening, the fitting including a flange, a clamping element for fixing the closing element to the flange, and a pair of arms extending in parallel from the flange and forming an intermediate space therebetween. Each arm extends to a sleeve which can receive the axle therethrough. The flange, the arms, and the sleeves forming a single piece. A ring received between the sleeves can be secured to the axle.
Abstract:
A mounting arrangement for glass doors includes an upper mounting having a mounting body with a clamping device for the glass leaf and a displaceable bearing pin for engaging in a counterbearing at a transom and a lower mounting with a mounting body with a clamping device for the glass leaf, and with a receiving recess for a floor door closer or a floor bearing. The two mounting bodies are arranged parallel to the vertical axis (H) of the glass leaf, and each clamping device is provided with longitudinally extending grooves for receiving fastening screws which project through screw holes in the clamping device and bore holes in the glass leaf. A clamping insert is provided for inserting into the grooves and has a recess for a cover panel. The mounting body and the counterbearing can be covered by means of covers, wherein the cover is provided with elongated holes which extend under the clamping insert and cover panel. Lift-out protection is provided in the upper mounting for the all-glass leaf in the closed position.
