摘要: A method includes monitoring, during a first time interval, traffic associated with one or more applications executed by a cluster of compute nodes and determining, in view of the traffic associated with the one or more applications during the first time interval, that the traffic is predicted to exceed a capacity threshold of the cluster of compute nodes at an end of a second time interval. The method further includes initiating startup of an additional compute node to be added to the cluster of compute nodes for executing replicas of the one or more applications.

摘要: An aspect relates to an optical limiter (200) for limiting the radiant flux of an optical source beam, comprising: an optical control port (221) for illumination by an optical control beam originating from the source beam; an optical input port (221) for illumination by an optical transmission beam originating from the source beam; an optical output port (225) for illumination by the transmission beam; and a thermally driven light mill (211, 212); wherein the light mill is arranged with respect to the input port, the control port and the output port such that illumination of the control port by the control beam drives the light mill to rotate only when the control beam has a radiant flux equal to or in excess of a predetermined radiant flux threshold; and rotation of the light mill causes an area of the output port illuminated by the transmission beam to change.

摘要: A method for obtaining a Computer Tomography (CT) image of an object reduces heel effect artefacts and includes generating x-rays using an x-ray source comprising an angled anode, recording at least one set of 2D projections of the object or a part thereof, and generating at least one 3D CT image of the object. Each 3D CT image is corrected, wherein scaling factors for slices of voxels are determined with at least one 3D CT calibration image that pictures similar or identical object structures of a calibration object placed within the x-ray beam path with respect to a y-direction. A contribution to grey values of voxels belonging to said object structures attributable to the slice position in the y direction is determined at least approximately, and the scaling factor for a respective slice of voxels is chosen such that it compensates for the determined grey value contribution for that slice.

摘要: A method includes obtaining first and second image data of a real-world scene, performing feature extraction to obtain first and second feature maps, and performing pose tracking based on at least one of the first image data, second image data, and pose data to obtain a 6DOF pose of an apparatus. The method also includes generating, based on the 6DOF pose, first feature map, and second feature map, a disparity map between the image data and generating an initial depth map based on the disparity map. The method further includes generating a dense depth map based on the initial depth map and a camera model and generating, based on the dense depth map, a three-dimensional reconstruction of at least pail of the scene. In addition, the method includes rendering an AR or XR display that includes one or more virtual objects positioned to contact one or more surfaces of the reconstruction.

摘要: A system for dataflow graph processing comprises a communication interface and a processor. The communication interface is configured receive an indication to generate a dataflow graph, wherein the indication includes a set of queries and/or commands. The processor is coupled to the communication interface and configured to: determine dependencies of each query in the set of queries on another query; determine a DAG of nodes based at least in part on the dependencies; determine the dataflow graph by determining in-line expressions for tables of the dataflow graph aggregating calculations associated with a subset of dataflow graph nodes designated as view nodes; and provide the dataflow graph.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, computer program products, and systems. For each dataset in the system, embodiments of the present invention can identify at least one stack of hierarchically-dependent system components on which that dataset is dependent, and generate a system graph having nodes interconnected by directed edges. Dependency of each dataset on a stack, and between successive components in each stack, is represented by a directed edge between nodes of the graph. Embodiments of the present invention can then calculate for each dataset, a stack-dependent compliance score as a function of the compliance scores for a set of nodes reached by traversing directed edges in the graph from the node corresponding to that dataset, and generate an alert if the stack-dependent compliance score for a dataset breaches a predetermined risk threshold for that dataset.
