摘要: A wattmeter in which a Hall sensor is provided with a large number of Hall elements, whose voltages are individually tapped. The wattmeter circuit is further provided with an impulse-width modulator, the input voltage of this modulator being periodically reversed, with a feedback to compensate the disturbing voltages, and with a circuit for precision curvature compensation CMOS bandgap reference. The output of an embodiment of the wattmeter is adapted to the reading-off by a computer. A wattmeter can be realized on a semiconductor wafer.

摘要: Disclosed is an apparatus and method for sensing power in a variable frequency machine. The power is sensed in each phase of the three phase machine by utilizing Hall generators for multiplying the phase current flowing through each phase by a current proportional to a phase voltage for each phase. The products are then summed to obtain a reading of the instantaneous power drawn by the three phase machine. The AC component is filtered out of the summed signal using a multi-stage filter which allows for maintaining of a fast response time with low ripple. In a preferred embodiment, a four stage filter utilizing R.C. filters is employed for this purpose.

摘要: A power detector includes a detection circuit and a bias circuit. The detection circuit is used to receive an input signal and output a power indication signal. The bias circuit includes a first impedance unit, a second impedance unit and a transistor. The transistor includes a first terminal and a control terminal coupled to the first impedance unit, and a second terminal. The second impedance unit is coupled between the first terminal of the transistor and an output terminal of the bias circuit, or between the second terminal of the transistor and a second terminal of the bias circuit. The output terminal of the bias circuit is coupled to an input terminal of the detection circuit, and is used to output a bias signal.

The error amplifier can be configured to provide an output voltage to each of the bias inputs of the first and second detection cells, such that an output of the second detection cell is representative of power of a radio-frequency signal received at the signal input with an adjustment for one or more non-signal effects as measured by the first detection cell and the error amplifier.

Here, the electrical energy transferred from a charging station is determined by a measurement of the energy before the transfer point, wherein the reactive power component from the termination point as far as the transfer point is compensated. The reactive power component is determined from at least one second electrical variable, for example a resistance of a conductor or a conductor shield, which is in a fixed relationship with an analog electrical variable that is relevant to the transferred electrical energy, for example an ohmic total resistance of at least two conductors involved in a charging circuit.
