    摘要: A measuring unit for simultaneous measurement of two current values and two voltage values of a power line with three high-voltage conductors includes: three two-pole electrical interconnections, each interconnection being configured to be connected between two separated ends a high-voltage conductors; a first and second current sensor, configured and arranged to measure a current through the first interconnection and through the third interconnection respectively; and a first and second voltage sensor, configured and arranged to measure a voltage between the first and second interconnection and between the second and third interconnection. The measurement of the two current values and the two voltage values is at a floating potential. This measuring unit may be installed directly on all three phases, of a substation for example, with its own internal power source and with no ground connection. Such features are important for power systems with high penetration of variable renewable energy resources such as solar PV or wind.

    摘要: A device for use in a power transmission system to sense GICs. The device may be a part of a reactance-injecting device on a power line, it may be a standalone device, or it may be a part of another type of device. The device may include a sensor to sense magnetic fields (e.g., a Hall effect sensor). The sensor may be positioned in the air gap of a magnetic core formed concentrically around the power line. The signal from the sensor may be converted to a digital signal and separately processed to determine the magnitude of the AC current and the magnitude of the DC (or quasi-DC) current. If the output signal of another NC current sensor is available, that output signal may be used to adjust/calibrate the determined magnitude of the DC current. The sensor may communicate with other devices in a network to provide GIC information.

    摘要: A current sensor includes semi-annular first and second magnetic cores, first and second sensors, and a differential output part. The first magnetic core is provided around a wire in which an electric current flows and includes a pair of first magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first sensor is provided in the gap between the first magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The second magnetic core is provided around the wire and includes a pair of second magnetic core parts each having a quarter annular shape. The first and second magnetic cores form an annular magnetic core. The second sensor is provided in the gap between the second magnetic core parts and detects a magnetic flux. The differential output part outputs the differential output of the outputs of the first and second sensors.

    摘要: When miniaturizing an ammeter or wattmeter, a magnetoresistance effect element given a barber-pole electrode could be considered an efficient device. It was considered that a barber-pole electrode formed at 45° with respect to an axis of easy magnetization (the longitudinal direction of a rectangular-shaped element) would be the most efficient. Current is refracted, however, when the current passes through the boundaries of substances with different conductivity, so a barber-pole electrode formed at 45° is not the most efficient. According to the invention, it is possible to provide a highly efficient magnetoresistance element having a rectangular magnetic film whereupon an axis of easy magnification is induced in the longitudinal direction, and a barber-pole electrode which is formed upon the magnetic film at an oblique angle θ to the longitudinal direction, where the magnetoresistance element takes into account current refraction at the boundary between the electrode and the magnetic film.
