The gesture recognition module comprises an image capturing unit, for capturing a first pixel value, a second pixel value, a third pixel value and a fourth pixel value sequentially of images of the gesture of the user; a computing unit, coupled to the image capturing unit, for determining a first minimum surrounding shape comprising a first pixel difference between the first pixel value and the second pixel value, and determining a second minimum surrounding shape comprising a second pixel difference between the third pixel value and the fourth pixel value; and a determining unit, coupled to the computing unit, for determining the gesture according to a relation between the first minimum surrounding shape and the second minimum surrounding shape.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method of displaying a pointer on an external device sharing an output video with a terminal, and an apparatus thereof. A method of controlling display of a pointer by a terminal so that the pointer is displayed on an external device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes transmitting an output video of the terminal to the external device, if a predetermined request exists; detecting a sensing value according to a input performed on a display area; generating a pointer displaying signal used for displaying a pointer at a position corresponding to a position where the detected sensing value is detected on the external device based on the detected sensing value; and transmitting the generated pointer displaying signal to the external device. According to the present invention, since a pointer is displayed on an external device sharing an output video with a terminal, the user may execute a desired function by looking at the external device, without looking at the terminal.

    摘要: A user can use a finger, or other such object, to provide input to a computing device. The finger does not have to contact the device, but can be positioned and/or oriented in such a way that the device can determine an input that the user is attempting to provide, such as an element or icon that the user is intended to select. One or more cameras can capture image information, which can be analyzed to attempt to determine the location and/or orientation of the finger. If the finger is at least partially outside a field of view of the camera(s), the device can use a sensor (e.g., EMF) to attempt to determine a location of at least a portion of the finger, which can be used with the image information to determine the location and/or orientation of the finger. Other estimation processes can be used as well.

In a case that a predetermined operation using the pointer to an object included in the screen is detected, at least part of screen data is transmitted in the second transmission mode.
