摘要： A method for effective vehicle identification and communication between riders of transportation network companies (TNC), and the vehicles that are being designated to the riders. Accordingly, a system used to execute the method of the present invention conveys the information of the rider on a display device on the designated vehicle of the rider, so as to notify the rider before getting into the designated vehicle. Additionally, the present invention also helps assist blind people by conveying audio messages, such as pipe messages or announcing their names. Further, the present invention provides riders the ability to send an emergency alert, thereby ensuring a safer ride. Furthermore, the present invention enables TNCs to utilize the display device as a trade dress and as an optional platform for other media advertisements.

摘要： The train detection system comprises a wireless communication network further comprising train detection modules attached to catenary poles at the entrance and exit of the railyard. Each train detection module is equipped with a plurality of diverse sensors configured to detect trains and other on-track vehicles. The diverse sensors are simultaneously active and work together for detecting an approaching or leaving train. The train detection modules generate train alerts which are transmitted wirelessly over the wireless communication network. Each of the railyard workers wears a personal alert device capable of wirelessly connecting with the train detection modules and receiving the train alerts over the said wireless communication network. The train alert modules are capable of transmitting alerts wirelessly to personal alert devices and other train alert modules. Train alert modules are capable of generating audio visual warnings for any personnel which may not be equipped with personal alert module.

摘要： This disclosure provides systems and methods for providing an emergency alert notification. An electronic communication device can receive, from an alert generation device, a low power advertising packet responsive to an action performed on the alert generation device. Before the action is performed, the alert generation device can be in a low power state, such as a sleep state, to conserve battery. The action can cause the alert generation device to transition from the low power state to a second state in which the alert generation device begins transmitting the advertising packet. The electronic communication device can identify at least one emergency contact to receive an alert based on a contact policy and can determine an alert type based on the contact policy. The electronic communication device can generate the alert including a request for assistance and can transmit the alert to the at least one emergency contact.

The transmitter transmits a message to a computer or communication device.
