Abstract: An information processing method includes: obtaining first simulation results by running a simulation according to an operating parameter of a mobile object before and after a first change; evaluating each first simulation result based on risk, cost, and value indexes in an operation of the mobile object to obtain first evaluation results; calculating a first influence degree of the operating parameter on each index using sets of the operating parameters and the first evaluation results corresponding to the first simulation results; applying a second change to the operating parameter based on a simulation search policy and the first influence degree; obtaining a second simulation result by running the simulation according to the operating parameter after the second change; and evaluating the second simulation result based on the indexes to obtain and output a second evaluation result.

Abstract: Modulated signal A is transmitted from a first antenna, and modulated signal B is transmitted from a second antenna. As modulated signal B, modulated symbols S2(i) and S2(i+1) obtained from different data are transmitted at time i and time i+1 respectively. In contrast, as modulated signal A, modulated symbols S1(i) and S1(i)′ obtained by changing the signal point arrangement of the same data are transmitted at time i and time i+1 respectively. As a result the reception quality can be changed intentionally at time i and time i+1, and therefore using the demodulation result of modulated signal A of a time when the reception quality is good enables both modulated signals A and B to be demodulated with good error rate performances.

Abstract: An encoder includes circuitry and memory coupled to the circuitry. In operation, the circuitry determines whether or not a current video to be processed is a progressive video. When it is determined that the current video is a progressive video, the encoder encodes, into a bitstream, one syntax element indicating a chroma location type which is information indicating locations of chroma samples relative to luma samples for a frame included in the current video. When it is determined that the current video is not a progressive video, the encoder encodes two syntax elements into the bitstream, each of which indicates the chroma location type for a different one of fields of two types included in the current video.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment (UE) and base station (BS) involved in an improved physical random access channel, PRACH, transmission. The UE configures, based on a received unlicensed channel access configuration, symbols of an occupancy time of the respective unlicensed channel for uplink communication; receives an indication of a timing of channel resources which are to be used for a PRACH transmission; determines whether or not the indicated timing of channel resources is included within the symbols configured for uplink communication; if successful, performs a clear channel assessment, CCA, for a gap duration before the start of the indicated timing of channel resources which are to be used for the PRACH transmission; and if successful, transmits a random access, RA, preamble within the symbols configured for uplink communication at the indicated timing of channel resources which are to be used for the PRACH transmission.

Abstract: If repetition transmission is applied to a response signal for a downlink data signal and an uplink signal, the uplink signal is repeatedly transmitted using a certain number of consecutive subframes starting with a first subframe, at which the repetition transmission of the uplink signal starts, and the response signal is repeatedly transmitted using at least the certain number of consecutive subframes starting with a second subframe, at which the repetition transmission of the response signal starts. The first subframe is set to be the same as the second subframe.
