Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The described techniques provide for phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) antenna port configuration and use to support a number of transmission layers (e.g., up to eight transmission layers). In some examples, a user equipment (UE) may be able to support up to four PTRS antenna ports. The UE may transmit capability signaling indicating a number of supported PTRS antenna ports (e.g., up to 4). The network entity may transmit control signaling indicating a number of PTRS antenna ports and a mapping between the PTRS antenna ports and other ports (e.g., sounding reference signal (SRS) ports or demodulation reference signal (DMRS) ports). In some examples, the UE may also indicate a requested number of PTRS antenna ports (e.g., which may be the same as or less than the supported number of PTRS antenna ports).

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for avoiding out of order uplink data reception upon data radio bearer (DRB) release or quality of service (QoS) flow addition. An exemplary method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE), includes receiving an indication from a base station (BS) that multiplexing of hybrid automatic retransmission request (HARQ) information and channel state information (CSI) is enabled in all physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources, generating a first CSI report regarding a first downlink (DL) channel from the BS, multiplexing a HARQ response to a transmission from the BS and the first CSI report in a PUCCH, and transmitting the PUCCH to the BS via one of the PUCCH resources.

Abstract: A UE may identify slots to transmit and/or receive information related to one or more HARQ processes in frame structure that includes both sub-band full duplex slot types and time division duplex slot types. Based on a first slot used for control information, a UE can identify a second slot for PUSCH or PDSCH communication based on an offset between the first slot and the second determined by calculating slot offsets (e.g., based on parameters received from a base station). In some aspects, a UE may exclude certain slot duplex types (e.g., SBFD or TDD) when calculating slot offsets. In some aspects, a UE may calculate slot offsets differently for different HARQ processes corresponding to one frame. In some aspects, slot offset behaviors may be based on priority of information associated with a HARQ process.

Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer-readable media for facilitating multiplexing of downlink grant-triggered aperiodic channel state information reports on an uplink control channel are disclosed herein. An example method for wireless communication at a UE includes receiving scheduling to provide multiple A-CSI reports while foregoing A-CSI multiplexing, the scheduling for up to two A-CSI reports in a same slot for the UE, and the multiple A-CSI reports being non-overlapping in time in the same slot. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a source user equipment (UE) and a relay UE may participate in a decode and forward relaying procedure to provide greater uplink coverage to a base station. As part of the decode and forward relaying procedure, the source UE may transmit source data to the base station and the relay UE may overhear the source data transmission, decode the source data transmission from the source UE, and forward the source data to the base station. In some cases, the base station may unsuccessfully receive the source data from the source UE and the relay UE, and may transmit a groupcast downlink control information (DCI) message to indicate a resource assignment that the source UE and the relay UE may use for retransmitting the source data or for transmitting new source data, or both.
